It's general discussion, I know none of you are looking anywhere else. I don't see any other thread yet, so I guess I'll be the messenger.

Pass. 6 heavies, 3 mediums, 2 assaults and 0 lights. :(

Also, I have lots of third rate heavies. I don't need more.

Delighted here. I can spend that money on something else!

That is one ******* epic-looking mech.

Probably won't be very good.

Some things to know about the Preorder and Linebacker:

- It is not fully armored, .5 tons required for full armor

- 17.5 tons of pod space when all weapons are removed (Thanks for fix Scarecrow)

-Fastest Heavy Clan (or overall) to be in-game as of now

- Hard point starved in first 3 variants, Hero and Reinforcements help counter this

-Locked Heatsinks in engine (I believe)

- 1st 3 variants are more than likely to be quirked to counter hardpoint starvation

Worth a buy? Maybe, if you want a bigger streakcrow or just a fast clan heavy all in all.

If this is Catapult sized it would be like, an amazing boom and zoomer, that's for sure.

I'm upset because that Clan mech looks awesome. Its like a better looking Timerwolf.

As far as redesign is concerned, Alex managed to polish a **** very well. As expected of Alex.

Still a ****, though.

What's with PGI's fetish in straightening up squat mechs? At this rate I'm not sure I want to see how they make the Bushwacker.

PGI finally managed to make the Timbie and the Mad Dog go squat again, but then do this?

*edit* I get the "being able to torso twist" part, but PGI's Linebacker's legs are still too tall for my liking.

16 tons of podspace on a heavy makes it feel like a serious case of overengineitis.

The Stormcrow pretty much trounces this thing and does it for a medium slot.

Edit: Might be able to get away with an LRM5 build on this, similar to the Mad Dog.

That seems really over-engined. 390XL?

The Linebacker looks like a Nova that ate a Jenner IIC.

Looks pretty cool.

There should be a promotional though. Buy the Ultimate Pack, and get a free Grid Iron lol.

It shouldn't be too far off, it is a 65 tonner after all.

Why do they keep making mechs that look like their legs are on backwards? It's the feet more than anything, but some kneecaps would help.

Interested, but going to wait until I see full specs (torso twist especially). Pre-order items are.... mediocre.

I will give you that, the Linebadder will be the best looking potato on the field. The Summoner will finally have to relinquish it's title as the Worst Clan Heavy.

Well, next to the Phoenix Hawk anyway :)

Besides, when lacking, time for quirks...eventually *shrug*
