honestly the only way pgi is going to get me to buy any more mech packs is to give then a couple new weapon systems. at the time they release the mech the weapons would also come out for mc and then for cbills when the mech comes out for cbills. thats probibly the best way to do it.

Otherwise, most of the "New toys" everyone wants just don't fit with the setting. Mechwarrior 3, Set in 3060, has pretty well all the same guns we've got here, and Mechwarrior 4 was set in the Fedcom Civil War, in 3062-67

They won't do new weapons until they can't make new sales from what they can include now.
