Hit detection, in general, has been crap for a while. Makes it really hard to "CARRY HARDER".

They have the best servers reserved for the tournament play.

watch it in 0.25 speed, I saw only 1 shot that look like it may have Lagged shield. Most of the time your shots where going between and round the legs with few hitting the small leg hit boxes.

You also forgot to say your fighting 3 Locust there not just one.

I've never really had a problem with hit detection when dueling other lights (including locusts).

Watching the video, the SRM barrage you fired towards the Locust's legs looks like it managed to thread the needle, your left pod went to the left of his right leg and the right pod went right between his legs. Convergence must have been set on the ground behind him when it fired.

You then landed a solid hit and splatted one as expected.

A bit later it looks like you landed a glancing hit where about 25-33% of your barrage hit the side. Let's say 33% or 8 missiles. That's only ~16 damage spread over his arm and side torso. While it'd hurt, a hit like that probably wouldn't kill unless he already was missing most of his side torso armor.

Lead your shots and if you want to complain about the damage you possibly dealt not killing lights, maybe don't take a potato killer loaded up with SRMs that spread their damage all over the place.

I kill Locusts just fine (even in packs of 3) using pulse and AC (not so much C-UAC because of the spread).

Not saying you're a potato killer, saying SRM spam mechs are. They do best firing on large targets with slow reaction times. Against a fast moving small target the missle spread and travel time make them a subpar weapon system. Watching your video and pausing you can see your missiles flying between legs, over the top and around the sides of the Mechs.

Dunno, hte locusts I shot at got their damage, yes it spreads because at that size it is nearly impossible to stay on a single locations, yet I generally don't have issues with locusts. People need to use more AC's because lasers area really not workign well against them.

it takes true skill now to hit locusts with srm's you missed so many times most or even all of them. And a volley of srm's is still spreading on the size of them, so I haven't seen any hitreg issues here, just not so good hits at all.

this is true

the AC dmg is when it hits

the laz dose dmg over time

and locusts (#META pixies) are so small now they roll dmg nicely

still die in like one hit still

but surviving has gotten better :D

I am not sur eif i shadowplay recorded it, a poor locust pilot yesterday on grim plexus appeared out of the nowhere and stopped right in front of me. Pew pew, two fist volleys of my nova and he was gone. poor guy, that single second of a wrong step.

However what confuses me a lot more is the jenner pilots, so many still stick with the, "drive to opponent, stop at him and spam fire" behavior. Very weird.
