My area (Maine) pushes traffic through Boston. Its been getting tight for a few years now and interruptions are increasing. Still the installation of new backbone fiber is only in the planning stages. No money or justification for investment. Its only going to get worse.
I'm still trying to figure out how Wireless Cell bandwidth is actually part of the discussion (it's only if you use it primarily as your Internet connection - fiber backbones have nothing to do with this).
