I have found that they are very team dependent builds, they are great support but can't carry.
You don't have the heat dissipation to be in a brawl, so you need your team to be engaging while you are slightly farther away.
I've had a lot of 600-800 damage matches, but an equal amount of 100-200 damage.

they work well, if you position yourself well... don't try to brawl with them (hopefully you have some backup weapons with them for when the enemy closes the distance) but can be very very effective when used properly

Some people prefer both guns on one side for convergence. I do not, because I do not like all my eggs in one basket.

This is the build I came into the thread to suggest. Very fun and pretty effective. I also like the Nova or Hunch with 2 PPC's. Summoner and Scat aren't too bad either. There's always the 2 guass + 2 PPC Kodiak which is pretty popular in the tournament so far.

I'd say my best matches with it ranges from 300-600 damage. On rare occasions where I'm overlooked I can push this a bit higher, with my record being about 1000. With more intelligent placement and aim I'm positive I could bring these numbers higher and get them more often.

The only mech thatis more fun to play than the 2 cERPPC Nova is the 2 ER PPC BJ-3, and that's only cause of quirks.
