after mastering my nova, i have the A, prime, and S types.

i only have one fit i love, 12ersl and 4xmg.

and want to know your openion on what type to keep or get to build this fit off of. I dont want 3x of the same omni mech sitting around taking up garage space.. with fitting saves comming anyway.

so.. which to sell, which to keep?

also, looking to get the hellbringer next. will have to get 3x of em.. but which to keep? see.. I wasted a lot of mc painting my novas.. with one shot paints... (stupid I know)

I don't want to make the same mistake with the HellBringer

It's a terrible idea to ever sell mechs... Never worth it. Besides, why not, I dunno... try different builds?

You can try two AC2s or UAC5s. A pair of the arms have some nice ballistic quirks.

My two favorite Mechs. Hellbringers and Novas. I have three of each. The Hellbringers are mastered the Novas are Elited. I could not bring myself to sell any of them (and I do sell Mechs that I do not like or feel repetitive).

If you ever want to play FP you may want to keep them. Between the two of them you can build a nice deck.

can you fit 2x uac5 on the nova with meaningful ammo? I thought it was too light on the tonnage

You can fit a UAC10 with 3 tons ammo and 6 ERSL. Plenty cool too.

Sader did it. Although, the increased fire rated caused ghost heat with his macro system. He had to retool it.

True, the UAC10 has way better ammo efficiency.

Probably the best ballistic in the game overall. I've always felt taking a single 10 over 2 5's is a good trade.

trying this now.

still don't answer my question. keeping multiple novas around is imho a waste of garage space. They are going to implement a "save fitting" system next month so I heard.

and even if they don't, swapping around omnipods and stuff isn't an issue. id rather have my garage space. so... which to keep as the base?

uac jams almost constantly... going regular ac10

as a matter of fact.. clan uac seems to jam on the first push, not the double tap... anyone else seeing this?

The UAC10 jam chance is lower than the UAC2 and UAC5, I think. Furthermore, it shouldn't be jamming on the first shot. Regular Clan ACs basically only exist as filler.

Random is random... Clan UACs reward trigger control. Regular Clan ACs are placeholder weapons... PGI doesn't actually intend for you to use them. If you must, mount the UAC10 and avoid double-tapping... but for the love of all things holy don't mount the regular AC.

False

16% VS 15%

Add or remove 1% per AC class change

14% for UAC2, 17% for UAC20

Derp, I meant to says that the DPS loss is better. Higher UACs have better gain in DPS for their weight than lower UAC when double tapping.

You should really ditch the MGs for heatsinks, CAP or TC1. The other STs offer decent cooling or structure quirks. Plus that build runs so cool anyway so you don't need the low heat MGs, and you should really be twisting to protect your very vulnerable arms in between shots. CAP is always nice, for spotting enemy ECM mechs, UAVs and faster target data in a brawl. The 12spl build is fun, much faster dps to let you get the kill very quick, just not as sustainable as the 12 smalls. 6mpl is a good build with decent quirks/damage/range. If you're decent with projectiles the 2PPC build can be a beast. I don't like UAC builds on that mech, too much face time, not enough dps, it's terrible for poking, and without endo it's just better to run energy.

Keep Nova-S. It has an AMS slot in the middle with 10% AMS RoF quirk. Other variants got nothing on the CT.

Yup, I run mine with both AMS upgrade modules, counting bonuses it comes out to around a little over 5 times as effective as a single unqirked vanilla AMS.
