It is tech-friendly, too. No advanced stuff other than DHS.
This would greatly increase the versatility of the Blackjack line by introducing a missile-capable variant.
Is there any reason to not have it in the game? It could be a MC-only option for a month followed by C-Bill release if needed to cover costs.

Just make sure it has 3M hardpoints and I will be happy to say yes, for making it one of the more brawly type mediums for the Blackjack in terms of ammo based weapons.

Yeah idk why this isn't in (same with ol' Grandy). Maybe it's because it would take the place of the Hunchback or (lol) Vindicator.

My tweet to Russ:
"@russ_bullock Hey got some great Ideas for 2016 Loyalty Mechs: BJ-2 Blackjack & DRG-5K Grand Dragon & SMN-M Summoner? Waddya think?"
I think the loyalty stuff is among the more likely way to see these missing stand alone variants.

it has at least 4, since it packs 4x SSRM2s. And 2x ERLL.

I would not be against he Warhawk but SMN needs the omnipod help a lot more, and it's already in the game files. So, ya know, ez-pz?
Thing is this thread is about BJ2. Go to my thread to argue merits of other Loyalty Mechs, so we don't derail PPs.

Yeah, moved there. Thanks for the new thread. Never like highjacking someone else's.

On an SRM 'Mech, not really that big of a deal especially since that's not where your firepower will be. Nice to have, though.
IDK, don't see it swift (or ECM'd) enough to be a poor man's GRF-2N. I think that role still begs for the Assassin. I figure this is still more of a standoff mech, with either SRMs for Defense or 4xLRM5 for added harassment. Not a metamech anyhow.

It can't be a Griffin 2N, you're right. Unless they give it a higher engine cap (unlikely, but we can hope!), it would most likely be best slaved to a larger 'Mech. The use-case I'm envisioning is something like a Warhammer or Kodiak trying to trade around the corner at close range on a map like Caustic, and the BJ-2 either pops up and fires over its head or goes around the other side to sandwich with splat. It's just a subset of the Griffin's capabilities.
They alternative is maybe 2xLPL with 4xSRM2. That could be a decent PUG build, and definitely different than a GRF-2N. Certainly not meta. But then again, none of the Blackjacks currently are.

Misprint?
You mean with single heat sinks?
If I recall correctly it was no typo, but was explained, along with the similar Phoenix Hawk and Panther as oversights at the factory and the Upgrades literally represented the factory fixing bad designs.

The Panther 10K is still single heat sinks. Scorpion 10K got retconned too. I don't remember the Phoenix Hawk have SHS issues.
