I have become less interested now in scouting...not because of the resultant L.T. which has everyone so jumpy these days but because of the fact that it is in effect a micro 4 vs. 4 pick-up game.
How about instituting a drop deck for scouting matches?
3 mechs min max tonnage, say 60 to 120 tons.
The matches could be engineered the way FP is with reinforcements arriving on the same map or after the first wave there could be an entirely new map to fight over etc. until all mechs have been destroyed. Damaged mechs would be carried over to the next fight.

I am not sure. It certainly doesn't have anything to do with buying mech packs.

Then most likely it will be speedily ignored. Unless it helps them sell more random nonsensical **** PGI just doesn't seem to care.
