Was counting the Hbk2C in that. It's a hell of a boost for mediums.

Is CLPLs were better you wouldn't see anyone with cERPPCs though. A few people have always ran the gauss-erppc Timby. At times I think the meta shifts because a new mech that's amazing at a new loadout, everyone gets reminded of that builds merits and it trickles out everywhere else.

It was mostly Jager, the fact it used to be the only good mech to pull it off definitely limited the options, the Kodiak definitely shifted things, just not quite how everyone thinks (Gauss/ERPPC is a great response to Kodiaks themselves).

My IICA has sported 2x ERPPC since release... Ahead of the curve, as usual! Regular trendsetter I am! What are you Comp types gonna steal from my mechbay next??? Posted Image

Hmmm, although I enjoy the weapon and agility quirks that give a bit of a boost to a mech's stock loadout, makes it stand out a bit in a sea of chassis's and variants, with all the hyperbolic whining after a nerf, I can get behind getting rid of them completely.

But being a band-aid, they'd have to implement something in it's place, not 100% certain if weapon balance would do it.

I had a 6 kill match with one the other day. It's just so FoD. Sucks when you get overrun, in pug queue I really prefer the uacs.

However with the medium challenge going you just puck mediums with dark orange or red CT armor for Clans or ST for IS, point, click, BOOM. Same with Lights. I'm not an amazing pilot but it took maybe 4 matches to get used to it.

Score is still better with uacs though. No question.

Until now, the ghost heat cripples the capability right, at least until the hot fix drops.

I can't even get the enthusiasm up to load my KDKs now. That pop that made my SB and KDK4 feel good is gone. Not sure why I'd use the SB now instead of my AS7-S.

I'm so sad about my KDK-4. It was my favourite, it wasn't at all a problem mech, and it got kicked in the nads anyways :(

I guess we knew it was coming, because PGI, but... *sniffs*

better mounts, better range, faster? Same thing as before?

AS7-S is a pig. You either need to set up a bombing run and hope to take the enemy with you or set an ambush and hope they walk into it. Any KDK can still hit and move, engage and break engagement. They all have better outs than the Atlas.

I get the mobility quirks let you play a 100 ton beast like a 75 ton heavy with a 100 ton loadout and armor. It was awesome while it lasted. It wasn't balanced though.

So you're now as maneuverable as a Banshee, only with CXL and generally a better loadout. And more armor and structure.
