This is more a concept for a decal than anything, and im not even sure if it can be done but. A dynamic decal that starts off as just a generic mech symbol, however as you get kills tick marks appear below/beside it . Now there is not infinite space so maybe a tick mark for every 10 kills? Eventually the space of the Decal will fill up but it would still be cool to have.

I still wish we could stack 2-6 decals and then convert them into one decal using a grouping function. Then save it as a new personal use only decal that we could apply to any our owned mechs.

Seriously why hasn't this function been in place from the start? Plenty of us players have suggested this idea. Is it a game/coding issue?

Seriously how long has the decal system been out now and still they haven't gotten to ANY of the actual active unit logos out there...even though we'd be PAYING to put them on our mechs??? 45 pages of suggestions.. how many of them have actually been acted on ??

But please keep spitting out those rubber chickens and anime icons instead. That makes SO much sense..

I know how you feel, every new thread here and tweet to Matt Newman was all about bringing the IS brigade decals into the game. But they always ignore the request in favor of Mechpack decals, boy does that get annoying! Right now I'm on the verge of creating an "IS Brigade Decal Poll" to drive in the point that the rest of the IS decals should be in this game. If my thread to get the Homeworld Clan decals was successful a year ago, then I am sure that anything is possible.

tldr: But my suggestion, maybe already mentioned, How about an option for leaders of a unit to make a "Custom Unit Emblem" that members of a unit can place on their mechs in one of their decal spots to show their allegiance and unit support? As it stands now, if I want to show support for my House and Unit it takes 5 of the 6 allowed (House Davion and the letters H, H, o, and D) leaving me really only 1 decal to play with, would make more sense for the Unit Leader to make one custom one that takes up only 1 slot instead leaving us 5 to decorate our mechs with, or add a 7th slot for a custom decal and the original 6 for standard decals.

Nitpick: Technically we're currently defaulting to using House Davion insignia instead of the O, reducing the requirement to only four decals. Still a custom decal / word system would be a substantial improvement.

I asked Alexander Garden about including all clan decals, and he stated that he would only be focusing on the active clans. So we won’t be seeing the Mongooses, Widowmakers, and Wolverines anytime soon.
