Name a few quads to me that seemm simple enough to quickly make in 3d, at least one with turrets, and send them to me in a message. I need a starting point for making some Quads in 3D.

Turrets aren't in timeline though.
However, a few simple examples could be the Scorpion, Goliath, Xanthos, Stalking Spider, Thunder Stallion, Bishamon too.

Screw that pice of My Little Hell Pony tech, kill it with fire! What the hell would the hero be? Applejacker?

I believe you're thinking about the Balius and not the Thunder Stallion.

Is it still the turn for another clan release? Not sure.

When it comes to IS release, I'm hoping for Stinger and/or Wasp. I think the combo pack makes sense, as the model could be near same. But if we only get one, I'd take the Wasp because the torso hardpoints would make it more forgiving. I think the 6E Wolf Dragoon variant would even be decent in-game, now that 20 tonners are finally appropriately small vs 35 tonners.

Also hoping for Crusader, and in terms of what think PGI WILL release, I wouldn't be surprised if this it. Basically nothing equals the sales potential of an unseen heavy.

Quad mech turrets are not yet in timeline? Bah.... kinda simplifies things but that sucks.

As far as i recall Quadruped Turrets are like part of advanced ruleset and the only mech that i can think of that is equipped with it by default would be the Stalking Spider II (which is like in 3100s)

But my memory fails me, more often than not. Maybe i'm wrong.
However, to be perfectly honest, i'd even PREFER the quadrupeds not having turrets, to help differentiate them more from bipeds.

If/when they do implement them they'll probably go the Nova route and make it be able to torso twist, even though it's not canon.

I'm not sure MWO could make them really usable.

Even so, Megamek only permits me to mount turrets on the left/right side. No front, no rear. So you'd have to do something like hit a button to use the left monitor to take control of left side turrets and then hit another button to spin and look at the right side monitor to use those there. Trust me it's be about impossible for it to feel like a biped.

Still think it would be incredibly cool to have quads, if only from a gameplay changeup perspective. I mean, I love the aesthetics of the Stalking Spider, but more importantly is how quads move. W and S as current, A and D as STRAFE instead of turn. Rebind mouse slide left and right to the turn, as the mech lacks an actual torso twist capability, and restrict the vertical traversal of the torso weapons. Not sure how to handle legging on a quad, though. Each leg lost loses 1/4 of the mech's speed?

Given volumetric scaling, being so leg heavy, quads would have another bonus. They'd be relatively small for their tonnage due to bulk. Low profile, small from any one angle. Can sidestep. Count me in!

Count me in too, I think the Scorpion would be a fun platform for a pair of top-mounted PPC's.

My only fear is that given Russ's hateful history towards quads, the Scorpion hero would probably come with a circus camo.

Ya know, with the locust getting kicked squarely in the balls this patch it opens the way for an over quirked Stinger/wasp megapack...

At least it's not pure angsty teen edgelord like "Smoke Jaguar" and "Wolf"

Clanners are weird and i like to pretend they don't exist.

I'd say something, but as a Nova Cat, I know this is the popular perception....

It's likely going to be an IS 40 tonner. Assassin, Vulcan, or Wasp/Stinger combo pack.

I'm hoping the latter of the three. Partially because I want more lights, and partially because I want them for the BT game.

Seriously though, just patiently waiting for the Bushwacker. That is the mech most likely to be added that I would want to spend money on.

Less likely, but equally desirable for me. The Uziel. But...It only has 1 variant that is close to the timeline and the others are pretty far out there :/

I'd want the Cougar too, but it would be a hard light to pilot.

Lastly the Champion would be another one for me, but I don't see that happening.

So I guess it is Bushwacker or don't really care :/
