As far as i recall Quadruped Turrets are like part of advanced ruleset and the only mech that i can think of that is equipped with it by default would be the Stalking Spider II (which is like in 3100s)
But my memory fails me, more often than not. Maybe i'm wrong.
However, to be perfectly honest, i'd even PREFER the quadrupeds not having turrets, to help differentiate them more from bipeds.
Still think it would be incredibly cool to have quads, if only from a gameplay changeup perspective. I mean, I love the aesthetics of the Stalking Spider, but more importantly is how quads
move. W and S as current, A and D as
STRAFE instead of turn. Rebind mouse slide left and right to the turn, as the mech lacks an actual torso twist capability, and restrict the vertical traversal of the torso weapons. Not sure how to handle legging on a quad, though. Each leg lost loses 1/4 of the mech's speed?
Given volumetric scaling, being so leg heavy, quads would have another bonus. They'd be relatively small for their tonnage due to bulk. Low profile, small from any one angle. Can sidestep. Count me in!
