Patcher runs on E: drive.
Game is installed on E: drive.

Windows10 directs all new downloads and files to E: drive.
Patch fails due to "Insufficient space on C: drive".

Since it shouldn't be going anywhere near my C: drive (which is space challenged due to Windows taking up 114GB of the available 148GB!!!!!!!!!) the patcher is still trying to use it for temp file storage, causing issues.

Had this problem, had to clear a bunch of crap off. Sounds like you can't clear off windows though, damn.

Run Win10's Disk Cleanup on your C drive to see if you can clear some space. Also check if your Downloads, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, etc. folders are being directed to your C drive. If they are and you've got GB worth of stuff in them, move them to another drive.

Years worth of patches and other stuff. Right click on the windows folder and there really is all this junk in there.

Download TreeSize (free edition) and run it on your C:

It'll show you where all your space is being taken up in a friendly tree view.

If you Reinstall via Steam you'll never have this problem. It isn't ideal needing to run steam in the back ground, but it patches and keeps file integrity so much better

Where do you have your swapfile located?

Anyhow, MWO Launchpad, like many other gaming launchpads uses Windows Internet Explorer (IE) hooks. Basically the thought is "Why remake the wheel?", that is SOE/DBG philosophy. So IE = Windows = C: Drive.

It is also why, if the game will not connect but you can via the browser you are using, that resetting the Internet Options works.
