When Mastering Clan Mechs Do You Use The Same Build 3 Times?

Personally, I try to justify the mechs by using them differently in different roles. The Timber Wolf, for example, I have a version with LLas in the side torsos and Mlas in the arms but then I have another version which uses the CT mounted laser to supplement it's ST mounted lasers and SRM racks.

My best was the Ebon Jaguar that I kitted up all 4 with decent loadouts using all the matching omnipods. I've changed them since, but I thought it was really cool at the time.

My guilty pleasure is mix builds though.
Bought 3 scr. 6 mpl on 1, 3lpl on another, 3srm6a 2mpl 4ersl. Energy brawl. Energy snipe. Brawl. Eventually will figure lbx or uac20 and some lazors just cuz of principles

Just bought 6 mediums last weekend and I'll stick to that plan.

1st EBJ had 2xLPL + Gauss.
2nd EBJ had 3xCUAC5.
3rd EBJ had 2xLPL + 4 CERMLs.

In order to maximize earnings, I Master all three variants using the same build. I rotate as each level is complete, stripping the Mech clean then building the next one.
Once finished, I generally keep just one build ready to go. Unless having more that one variant makes sense. I have 134 Mastered Mechs with between 300-400 million Cbills.
I manage my modules carefully, they can get expensive fast.

Though sometimes I will change part way through too. Like my Mad Dogs were srm/sl, lpl/ml, lpl/uac10, but I wasn't liking the lpl/ml so I changed it to asrm which is more similar to the srm/sl.

However, if i am buying them with Cbills, I often get a glut of XP by the time I can afford the next one in sequence. This means when I buy the third one and basic it, I instantly master the previous two by dumping in their XP. I may or may not choose to master the third one...

Then again, when I grinded out the Mist Lynx long ago, I had no other good options but using the same build. That's how you know mech building diversity on a bad omnimech can be total and utter garbage.

Yeah I end up leveling the boring ones serially rather than simultaneously, too. Takes longer but much less boring.
