OK I have a valid question for you

and please answer honestly because your company's history shows that it does NOT Care what the MWO community wants but what Russ ego allows...

1.Do You all actually realize how CRAPPY your customer service is??
2. Is there going to be anything for the community to look forward to??
3. do you actually answer peoples questions or do you tell them NOT to complain??( because you did not answer a single question I asked,, instead you told me to ask in a positive manner) Newsflash your company does not treat its community base of players in a positive manner..

and finally
4. will you quit putting mech packs out as you have them through December already..

and no I don't expect any answer..
I expect something like this..

" Please do not question the supreme leaders actions or words, Admiral General Russ knows what is best for the MWO community.."
quote from Titanic Captain Smith" Please do not worry everything is fine the Ship(MWO) is in no danger.....

As the band continues to Play...

( Yes the overall MWO Community is disgruntled and depressed and frustrated, I know I am..,,,)

Harebrained Successfully raised $2,785,537 with 41,733 backers
I am sorry to say that's 41,733 nails in the MWOs coffin...
With all the negativity( mine included) I am sure PGI is acting like normal people and is angry and jealous and probably hurt., I mean if we gave them 3 million dollars they could fix FW..
I have been a die hard supporter of MWO for 2 years now faithfully buying premium time and mech packs, but after the total failure of CW/FW and the migration away from it and PGIs total apathy to do anything except put out mech packs... even though putting out mech packs has become a JOKE to the MWO community.. there are literally hundreds of AWSOME ideas how to help/fix/patch MWO but the Admiral General Russ just nodes and smiles...
I'm reminded of Joe Isuzu
  • "You have my word on it."
  • "If I'm lying, may lightning hit my mother." (“Good luck, Mom!”.)
  • "It has more seats than the Astrodome!"
  • "Hi, I'm Joe Isuzu and I used my new Isuzu pickup truck to carry a 2,000 pound cheeseburger."
  • "The Isuzu impulse: faster than a speeding—[catches a bullet in his teeth]—well, you know."

Hi Tina Posted Image

my Questions to the Decals Posted Image

1:Give it a Quality Managment ?

Posted Image

thas is terrible Design ...making no contrast or separating lines to the colors and recognizable element

2: Battletech and mechwarrior is a vey strong military Universe , a "Tudors in Space" what is my first Idea for Decals by it ? Decals for proud units (GDL ,Wolfs Dragoons...), Military Elements like nosearts, Numbers for Battalions and Regiments ....not Smilies, Hearts and kissing lips-why bring PGI first this kidding elements ? thats not a Whats App Single Party.
3:Has the PGI Dev Team a Interest an the background of Mechwarrior ? or this only a element for the Artists and Gamedesigner ?

with best wishes.

The chances of the gamble MUST be known to the customers.
The UI implies equal chances (1/8 per item).
If that is not the case, there must be a clear textual hint in the cache UI to state that this is not the case.

I'll second the quoted part, I do not feel I should buy supply keys unless I know the chances are 1/8 for each item.

A lot of posts here are pretty toxic, please lighten up people. It's a game you've derived many hours of entertainment from right? Don't be the negative nancy lurking on the forums and find something enjoyable to do.

Ironic coming from someone in the same unit as Deathlike, and I always agree 100% with his posts so this is no diss.

I love the way PGI reps hide behind thin skin when they don't want to answer questions.
Not that I think the OP's questions are even slightly interesting.

i really only have 2 issues with the supply caches:

rarity. they needed to be rewarded at a greater frequency. even if i wanted to buy keys, i wouldnt have anything to open with them.

unknown odds. every gambling establishment ive been in posted the odds right on the slot machine or gaming table. this does not deter people from gambling (i watched my grandma and her boyfriend drop a thousand dollars into the damn things, despite being totally aware of the odds). i know its pgi policy to not reveal the odds, and i think thats a mistake. not revealing them is as if pgi has something to hide. i know if i buy a 10 pack of keys and get the booby prize on all 10 pulls, im not going to buy another 10 pack. ive bought maybe 3 or 4 keys and a few i got as prizes in events, and got the worst prize every time. my conclusion is its not worth it. posting odds might change that.

No chrome
This is pure frustration...
I really really do enjoy MWO back around christmas this was really fun, quick play was hopping and CW was full of people loving the game, the last 6 months have seen 90% of all the posts turn from positive to negitive,,,

It takes a major scream from the players to get Russ to even admit somthing was a bad idea let alone fix it,,the amount of good sugestions
Posts are legion,,and instead of acknowledging any of those sugestions they keep telling players to be nice...

I read the twitter thread and admril general aladeen keeps telling everyone "to trust him, he knows whats best for us"

And the continued pushing out of mechpacks for the next four months, along with the other feebel attempts to garnish money from us is rediculis. (Im using my phone with no spell check)

I would dearly love to make an "Im proud of what PGI is doing"post...

Bishop, I've collected the points you have brought up for feedback to be forwarded. I'll continue to do so from what I find on the forums, including the patch notes thread.

I will note one thing about threads and feedback, personally I find that when a there's a big discussion on a thread about a specific subject/feature where players are debating and discussing a lot, it makes it easier to see what the "hot topic" is and what the critical things that a lot seems to agree on. This is probably why it appears that we only respond to uproars.
This doesn't mean we want to see everyone be angry about anything to react, I just mean that the popularity of a subject really helps and shows how much it affects the community and how much we should consider putting our resources on. At least much more so than a thread with feedback of only 1 page which doesn't stay in the forums for a couple hours.

As I said in a previous post, I'll try and respond/post more, but please understand that sometimes it can be too early to give you any responses as to what the plans are in response your feedback.

I also have a question for Tina: since uproars have the priority, which is normal, is the uproar about the handling of the roundtable being noticed ?

As the title says..

and I truly do not expect a reply from PGI or their admin/rep...

1. Do you research your Ideas BEFOR you implement them??

2. your supply cash system is very weak and underwhelming, another attempt to get MC from players??

3. Did you really look at the decals in game BEFOR you implemented them?

4. and finally do you think your player base is ALL under 12 years old...because you continuously treat us as such??

this has the ability to be an awesome game but why do you keep trying so hard to drive players away...Dose Russ hate this game so much now he is unknowingly trying to kill it???

these forums are full of people BEGGING you to do something other than asking for money to help this game..
Please...................

Answers:

1. YES. Yes they do, and that's that saddest reply ever.

2. YES it is. If you take a minute to actually understand what they are trying to do, it's a weak implementation. Give EVERYONE on the winning side a supply cache. It hurts no one, and gives 12x the chance that someone might agreee to pay for it. Even a simpleton such as myself can see that that would provide more opportunities for PGI to make money in a non Pay-to-win way.

3. Yes they probably did, but like every other developer ever, they severely under estimated the audiences ability to mess with it.

4. NO, no they don't. They know that their audience is an older group than many other MMOs. Somehow that still prevents them from trying to build a relationship with them that profits both parties. They don't give a rats patootie about 12 year olds because it's their allowance is too small to buy a mech pack.

Honestly, if you want someone to answer a question, don't insult them at the same time you ask the question. There are more elegant ways to be pithy.

Truth is, that even a polite request for answers or an explanation is ignored by the PGI overlords, especially on these forums. Don't you know the tweeter is the place to get all the real dish on the game? The CM popped in here, mostly to pet the fan-bois and likely due to a new short term "calm the forums down" policy, but with nothing even approaching information sharing.

I'm reasonably sure that come September or so all communication from above will fizzle up and die again, just like it has in the past.

No. Its obvious by just looking at minimapocalypse or the latest CUAC10 ghostheat "fix".

I think the minimapocalype sums up the disconnect of PGI to the game itself once more ... unfortunately Posted Image
It was the worst sign ever that they have no clue what they are doing.
When it comes to the minimapocylpse it really enjoy watching this video Posted Image
