can I use a gift mech I bought for someone else?

If the gift code has not been redeemed, for whatever reason, you can redeem the code yourself.

You could, if not already redeemed.
Click "Redeem" at the top of the screen.
Put in the code and click the corresponding button.
Start your game; enjoy the mech.
