I'd say it goes left.
Maybe it goes right.
Damn.
Now I really have to think about it...

quickdraws can be made very fast, dragons too.
We have different definitions of fast. Of course flanking isn't dead, I never claimed it was. And you should know better than to believe in lag-shield, it's an old wive's tale, at least for the last year or so.

nope, i just abused it again in my lolmando. which is actually working quite well now.
if.... you can keep your arms on it lol.
which actually... i need to cry to PGI to do something and remodel the commando's arms.
with lasers on them they are just as huge as the mech itself... lol

edit: actually it might be the ping difference between european and US players in the same battle.

where the game is going, well its obvious that its going nowhere at all, a bland arena shooter with a Battletech skin over it.

Seems that all the devs those days are obsessed with arena shooters ( Overwatch being the newest ) or loot shooters ( Destiny or Tom Clancy the Division ) Thing is that the Mechwarrior Franchise is really not meant for that kind of competitive play unless its a full Solaris mode which we half way have.

One way or an other PGI just missed the mark for an opportunity to revive the Mechwarrior franchise. As long as the white whale is chased this game will just be a slower Hawken. If a PC Armored Core or a English Gundam game would come out I`d be leaving this parody of Battletech in a heartbeat.

Those days I'm more on Star Trek Online, graphics may be 2010 but it has it all unlike the one the community tries desperately tries to save.

I wanted to "like" your post, but I can't. It is the truth, but it depresses me too much to like it.

Nobody seem to know where this game is going.

They have been dangling the PvE and Solars carrots for longer than I have been here (almost 2 years), but never any real news on their development other than they are 'working on it'.

We did get Phase 3, and they say they want to improve it but never say how.

Other than that all we consistently see them working on are Mech Packs and the occasional new Map.

So what does the Future hold for MWO? Nobody knows and PGI isnt telling.

But hey, might I interest you in a Mech Pack?

Where is this game going?

Nowhere. Slowly.

I don't think the game will disappear for a good while, but the development progress is so slow it's not likely to become much more than what it currently is.

MWO is going nowhere, it will continue to be a mediocre e-spurts shooter, and experience a long drawn out, undignified end.
As each day passes, desires to play this game fade away, and i'm personally doubtful many will actually turn up or even bother to watch the World championship finals.

I force myself to play now and again, but when i do play, i'm dreaming of other games, that makes me sad.

I think they realized that just mech packs is not a sustainable business model this is why they introduced supply caches.

I'm totally uncaring about S.C's some people will use them others won't. I can't really see the point in someone that's been around since closed beta, even considering them, a new start on the other hand may well get an advantage in spending a few MC.

Many of the ideas P.G.I come up with are sound, just the way they are implemented leaves a lot to be desired.

ok so... why is it PGI's fault that some people only like certain classes... ahem...

Its PGI's fault because they can't leave anything alone. Every month its nerf, this quirk that, resize this. That is why people who once enjoyed something now don't enjoy that thing.
For example I used to enjoy playing mediums and now since most are taller than my heavies, I don't enjoy playing them. I ask you honestly, who's fault is that?

To be fair: In the the goodie crate thread where Tina directly responded to Bishop (http://mwomercs.com/...estion-for-pgi/), she seemed to indicate that they tend to respond to those topics where there is "a big discussion" and about "specific features" (on the other hand, we've all seen "big" "specific" discussions that were totally ignored). So even if my cynicism above regarding their interest due to $ impact is correct both of those threads were indeed pretty specific. Perhaps my cynicism is misplaced and all we need to do is have lots of topics in a general area of concern but with each thread focused on a specific item of interest. Food for thought I guess.

To be fair it would be good to reiterate that her response to him was still "I'm sorry I cannot give you a response to the question you are asking"

they are simply not as unforgiving as the lagshielded lights.

My Jenner has not had a lag shield in years I am sorry to say.. The re-scale has made it even worse for lights.

MWO will continue its trend of losing players,, till the point (imo end of this year) Russ will anounce that if you dont buy more mech packs he will be forced to shut servers down and you wont have Mechs any more because they will hold onto IP so no one else can develop it.
In effect no mechpack no soup for you..
After his comments over last couple month of,,you (community) know nothing, i know everything,, bow down to me because if it wasnt for me you would not have MW at all, that this (town hall with community and all the recent forum activity) is just panic damage control because the bottom line (sales) is bad.
Expect alot of promises alot of soons and maybe just maybe no mention of a mech pack because some one might mention that if they dont mention the next mech pack next TH some one will say " hey they must be serious they didnt just try sell us a mech pack"..
All this forum activity by PGI and Russ sudden need to communicate with the community he dismissed couple of months ago says to me things dont look good for MWO ...

As much hate, anger, frustration and disappointment we all feel, i get an impending feeling of the end, much like i experienced before M$ pulled the plug on the MW4 servers.
Truth is once MWO is gone, i will miss it deeply and most likely regret not playing full on till the end.
We can only hope PGI can pull some sort of miracle outta their backside :P.

Well, you still have time to decide on a refund.

Do it! Come on! Do it!
