It's retro movie night in the Inner Sphere, clearly. I wonder if they ever find LosTech "media archives" containing the Star League version of IMDB's top 100 films.

Lama Tsuma von Avon is the Noble Ruler of Turin.

It is the site of one of the Capellan Confederation's Duchy Regional Training Centres. Located in windy, mountainous terrain, the RTC has specialised in jump infantry training and is considered one of the Confederation's best in that field. Despite the focus on jump infantry training, the RTC also runs a vehicle training programme.

Turin is mentioned in the 1989 MechWarrior computer game published by Activision that is set in the BattleTech universe.

It says it is a tropical World with a population of 3,267,000,000 and is known for its horses and special cattle.

The Turin Horse, is we take this literally is a story involving Friedrich Nietzsche, who coined the phase, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger"

In 1889, the german philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche witnessed the whipping of a horse while traveling in Turin, Italy. He tossed his arms around the horse's neck to protect it then collapsed to the ground. In less than one month, Nietzsche would be diagnosed with a serious mental illness that would make him bed-ridden and speechless for the next eleven years until his death.

So apparently it should be revised, "That which does not kill us and make us stronger, must make us insane." ;)
