Well, I found this really good video about "evolution of PC games" and since our community has lots of veterans that probably played some (read most of the older ones) of these games in their childhood, I decided to post it here.
Keep in mind it's nowhere near long enough to have all the good and revolutionary titles, but that obviously wasn't even the point of it. At least it doesn't forget about one particular game you'll notice right away.

Duh, i know most of them and, played a lot of them, from C64 over Amiga to PC. Champions of Krynn, MW2, Wingcommander and Duke Nukem was the most remarkable for me in this clip.

That was fun. Some fond memories in there with Wing Commander, Warlords II, Civilization, Lode Runner, XCOM and lots of others. Only a couple games in there I haven't played.
