There was another thread about the same problem earlier. I hope this gets looked into. Really annoying.

Why it is not in "Known issues" list?!!! PGI doesn't know about this bug?

Sean Lang was having issues so they fixed it for him.

You should be grateful though because there will be a round table of special snowflakes and they will get at least one thing they ask for you all don't want.

I measured the time between exiting a match and getting into MechLab. It is 48 seconds for me. I even recorded it and send it to support to see with their own eyes. This is, as everyone says, unacceptable. You go through this waiting after every match. PGI should really fix this problem since it affects everyone.

I submitted this to PGI support. Here is their response:

Hi Ataboy,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, I have seen these threads before. Thank you for taking time to submit the bug anyways! We are currently working hard to get connecting times fixed as soon as possible. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

So....now that there are still lag, connection and jumping issues from the patch (not a patch, a giant step backwards) we see an increase in discos. When you see three or two discos, many times, it throws off any idea that there is balance.

If you care at all about this game PGI, beyond selling mechs, and mechs, and mechs, you will accept that the connection issues with the game are there, and fix them.

I criticize, because I care. I want this game not just to succeed, but to be epic. Right now, you are failing in that. Many of my friends have given up on this game, after being willing to invest time, and money.

Nothing would make me happier than to see this game have 100 really good maps, great game play, immersive experience, and financial success.

PLEASE PLEASE TRY HARDER FOR US FANBOYS. DON'T LET THIS GAME DIE.

YES, this is a major issue in my opinion. I would really like a HotFix if that is possible.

My connection time went up by at least 20 seconds.

**** man, that's ridiculous. I don't know why this isn't happening to me but I'd be pretty upset too if it was. PGI, fix this for these guys. I think I'm the only one this isn't happening to, so you've got a problem.

PGI please fix this quick! Usually I can play around 5-6 matches in one hour, now down to 3-4 due to the long connecting to lobby after each match. Even returning from "testing ground" will also be taking a long time to return to lobby....Posted Image. What's wrong man???

I'm yet another mechwarrior suffering from this connection affliction.

PGI, please add it to the known issues FAQ.

Thanks.

Its double (or slightly more) the connecting time for me. Previously I was already suffering from the long connecting time due to my internet connection. Now its much, much worse.

I am also hoping PGI can fix this soon. Im really getting bored of waiting for almost everything (matchmake, connecting time, loading time) to happen.

Welcome to Waiting Warrior Online.... They don't know how this game is used.... They think that we spend time in the mechlab and not in fight...

If this game was loading screen online, i'd say they are top notch.

But since this is a game where we run around in big tin cans shooting other big tin cans, please address the load times all around.

Post patch I spend more time in the "Searching, connecting, waiting, connecting" screens than in actual matches.

They should add some message dialogs during connection so you will be buys clicking them away.

And the mechlab saving bug is STILL present,so really the patch didn't fix it at all. I'd rather the previous version where worse case I log out and log in again, where the trips to mechlab were 20-30 seconds shorter.

Next Patch really??

DO they NOT quality Check ANYTHING they patch?

I am sooooo tired of the way we are being treated by PGI I am sorry. But their damn game continuously DC's people and then when you try to re-connect gives you a can not reconnect to server... then when you FINALLY get in... the timer has kicked in and even if you are able to contribute to the game... IT DOES NOT COUNT

I am sorry PGI.... DO A BETTER JOB!!!

Just 1 play through would have revealed this bug.... seriously what do you all do??
