MW5 trailer is better, by far.

But the best one is this one:



Not only does it capture the grim aesthetic of MW2:Mercs, but it just illustrates what a brutal game that is. Playing MW2, you had the Clans supplying you with fresh mechs for every mission. MW2:Mercs was a war of attrition, and by the time you made it to the finish line, you'd probably lost a bunch of good people in missions where it simply was not possible to get perfect results. And you gotta love intros where the bad guys are winning and heroes are dying.

MW2:Mercs, one of the best combat sims of all time. It's a shame MWO:Mercs (http://mwomercs.com/) shared so few similarities with MW2:Mercs, beyond the mech combat and having to pay for stuff.

MW3 intro, by far. Mixed forces, dense urban (rubble) environment. Just cheesy enough.

Only shame was the actual game had no map that looked anything like the intro clip's.

I like the clan intros in MW2. Too bad there wasn't more, especially a Ghost Bear one.

I've got to go with MW3. The summoner and timberwolf come across as menacing. The fireflies and avatar come across as scrappy, and the dialogue isn't cringe worthy. I also stand that MW3 had the best briefings with your information officer constantly annoyed his info is out of date.

I like the MW3 intro the most.

I love how the Timber Wolf comes to a hard stop at 1:37 in the intro. I'd love to do something like that in MWO. It looks rough!

The movement of the firefly and inspired styles of fighting in MW3. Later on to be the user agreed on mods c1(lasers only) and c5(ballistics only). The Firefly later sucked for lasers, Thor was used alot of c5 but the Avatar was THE 3 UAC 20 king.

The two best stock mechs are shown Mad Cat and Thor in the beginning.

I don't know where you guys are seeing an Avatar in the MW3 intro. All I see are a Summoner, Timber Wolf, a total of three Fireflies, a damaged Atlas, and a captured Mad Dog which appears to have PPCs in the arms instead of lasers (which is a workable configuration).
