Hi, and before you start telling me about MRBC, I know what it is. I plan on trying to participate in the next season, but that leads me to why I made this thread. Are there any ongoing plans from PGI to implement a competitive league with a matchmaker that DOES NOT use the PSR Tiers? I'm taking about a true ranking system, like is found in LoL or CS:GO. I'd love to play this, but at the moment its much more appealing to go play CS:GO with my friends, rather than take my chances and get frustrated in the PUG que. The way I see it, the PUG que is akin to casual mode in CS:GO (note: I have no experience with League). I'm sure it would be less bad if I had more people to play with, but right now none of the friends I play CS:GO with will download MWO, and very often there are so few people online that I know and would que with. An 8 vs 8 matchmaking system would be nice, with rankings instead of divisions, played as a BO5, using tonnage restrictions along with a few weight class limits. Please PGI, I beg you. I'd love to play this game more, but a lack of any continuously available competitive play keeps me away.

TL;DR: Lack of easily available competitive play not based on "seasons" makes the game become stale quickly.

It needs ladders within the game. Also Solaris...
