Great thank you !!
However till Power Draw is implemented and "settled" it will take one year Posted Image
Why can't they change it right now! 10% damage increase would not make it OP atm.

It will shift weapon usage pattern. Specifically in the ballistics department. And I think they want to see the clear pattern shift picture as they perceive the weapon balance now as 'good in general', e.g. there is no absolutely useless category and no ultra category, but they acknowledge existence of a few poorly performing ones. So till Xmas low to no chances on LBX damage increase.

And yes, PGI, please buff LBX-AC damage-per-pellet to 1.2 as a start and iterating from there.

Either buff damage or literally halve the spread...

Compensation is required for failure to implement mode switching which would make the LBX a viable alternative to UACs. More damage or dramatically less spread would split the difference and make it a worth while alternative.

I'd prefer dramatically reduced spread over more damage but w/e.

Reducing the spread just makes it closer to pseudo IS AC. Increasing the damage, however, will give it something special. Therefore, damage boost is what I prefer.

Acutally I would vote for increasing the spread and also increasing the damage.
This would increase its effectiveness for brawling and make it less effective long range.
For long range you have Goose Waffles and the other AC / UAC.

It doesn't need more spread.

If the spread goes up then damage per pellet needs to be pushed even higher, say 1.5 or more to begin with.

While lbx's in there current state have their place in term of the game platform, current selection of maps, which lacks badly of big close range areas, doesnt allow to consistantly perform with this weapons at the level of regular ac's.

Both spread reduction and encreased damage would be a solution with prior to the second - 1.15 dmg leaving heat level at 2. Another possible solution - multiplied damage to the structure, say, by 1,66, to embrace the nature of the shotgun!

Why do you want to make a highly situational weapon even more situational?

If anything it need a spread and damage buff. It should be a viable competitor to the IS ACs, that just behaves differently and has different situational characteristics. Not something severely gimping at anything other than brawling, considering the extra slots required over UACs.

If we had mode switching I'd say sure to nerfing spread for more pellet damage... But we do not. So split the difference.

I have noticed I can pad the crap out of damage by replacing my gauss with the lbx10 and running 2 erppc on a clan mech.

If we lose then it is easier to look at my damage and say I did my part.

It kinda works if I time the erppc first then the lbx, but in reality I just shoot twist and hit whatevs without taking damage. Kinda a new low in poking.
