our do you have a bone to pick. I would say if they were truly doing things as bad as i have heard, they would have been dead years ago. I believe other online games that burned recently could be a good example.

Let me put this into perspective to for you.

I stopped spending and playing until I get what I want I have invested 2500 into this game so of course i will stop by time to time to see if things are getting better or worse and I can tell you after 3-4 years of observation it's definitely getting worse around here. That attendance tournament did a good number on moral for both the community and PGI.

you do realize you can have a conversation with different players and get a different perspective on it. Of course you are relaying your experience. I just had a scrupple with the Op. i didnt disregard you.

Now if i was mechwarrior bhudda I might have insulted your or something but, this whole time i was just looking at it objectively. according to the roadmaps. You can not deny that work has been done. So i just find the claims made by some really hard to believe.

That would be my term and not by any standard definition.

What happens to most game devs (good or bad) is that they simply go out of business... especially after developing a bad game.

A lot of game developers... at least when they start is make bad games. It happens as part of the process, and usually over time they go away (usually due to bad press or the following it has)... PGI would arguably be the exception to the rule.

Contextually though, what they are doing is exactly what I'm describing. They are surviving despite the odds, but not in a positive manner. It doesn't mean success by any standard... it just means they are at best meandering and not knowing "what next".

By most business standards... such bad practices would involve a fallout of the business. This is why "cockroach" is the term I use.

Yes things are being done to the game for now but those things are getting smaller and smaller and more people have less and less faith now. Missing a simple roadmap post adds a huge amount of faith lost.

If you can not be bothered to spend 1hr of your time to type up a post for your customers well why should people stay customers?

Apperntly according to russ its being written. So i dont know what you mean " cant be bothered". Do you know they are not writing it? 2nd i believe you or maybe somebody else already admitted that even if they write one up down the line then they still get no respite. So Ill just ask you rather than assume, and this is in line with the OP.

When they do finally put one up what will your outlook be towards them? will it restore faith?

is that fair enough of a question.

I said a couple of times now, that i also looked forward to the write-ups. I just dont want to be hasty with my conclusions

No it wont restore faith because I was supposed to be wrote up 3 days ago in 3 days you can't spare 1 hr? You must not care!

Only way my faith is coming back is with a new engine, PVE offline, and Mad Cat MK II... that's it!

Since we haven't heard any new on the maybe engine upgrade it's most likely not going to happen. As for the other two items maybe 2018 maybe.. That is what soon seems to mean to Russ. I was told MK II soon in Feb (it's on the cusp) it's now Aug even it it was sold this year I will not be stomping around in it till next year so the next 6-9 months of this game I still have NOTHING to look forward to or to play.

I have stopped playing pretty much since 2 months .. (played maybe a couple of games).. just because i dont find the game diverse anymore.. i have been since the closed beta times..and seeing pretty much the same maps, loadouts and gameplay tactics over the time i have lost a massive interest in MWO... the primary reason is simply seeing more mechs being announced every single month vs nothing about new/different maps...

so ya i still come here to see whats going on..i keep the game updated..but dont fire up..maybe in 6 months time it will offer something new (game mode or maps) otherwise for me atleast this game is going downhill...

just a whine thread. look at the beginning of the thread. you didnt have much of a problem before i started to disagree whith some of the things you said.

I not the other guys who just nod their heads because somebody starts whining about PGI.

I once again demonstrated that they IN APRIL DID NOT post a map until the 7th, why didnt you make this thread before? why didnt anyone else? becuase only a few people here are gonna start making large logical leaps becuase they didnt post a roadmap, which russ said he was making,

maybe their is a reason why its not here but 1. you cant assume their not making it. 2. it doesn't mean they have a lack of interest. 3. doesn't mean they dont have any plans. 4

For the last time I already agreed with you that a roadmap early on is a good idea. But stop insulting me becuase i dont agree with any of your other points.

Actually it is the one thing of those things that PGI could deliver on and has explicitly dangled in front of me since Feb. The other two will take over a year or two to produce.

i never stated that it was his, that was meant to be when he wanted it. But look at the command chair, the roadmap was 7 days out the month and no post correlating about it. So i assume that most people dont take a lack of a roadmap to mean nothing is being planeed.

I can apologize, i can say im trying to be civil, im not making it personal. Doesnt matter, some of these guys are still made i pointed out the flaws int their post and they never got over it.

Point is, when their actually is no roadmap this month or it comes on the 25th, then ill say appogee was on the money. Until then most of you are just making loooooong assumptions that might not be accurate.
