I like the new mini map. One of my favourite recent updates. The comm wheel and decals were also a welcome addition added recently.

The new map updates are awesome to. Looking forward to the rest. I wonder mostly how HPG manifold will be done and the valley network.

For mechs I look forward mostly to the Stinger and Wasp.

The upcoming updates should make a lot of excellent improvements to the game even if no large new features have been announced yet. I don't know maybe the assault mode update will count as a large new feature though. Few details given yet.

If it's awesome I'm sure they get some good will except how long it took to come up with something that fits on one sheet of paper, if I had to guess not even double sided

Faith, or to put it differently, trust, is easily lost and very hard to regain
If I'd do my job the way and as "on time" as PGI my supervisors wouldn't trust me with anything and regularly check in what I'm doing
Getting that trust back that I do my job and do it well would be a long hard road
Reminds me of what we have around here
There isn't a lack of faith just because

Lastly, we are the customers
PGI may hate talking/communicating with difficult people, but that's though luck
They're customers
Not talking to them gets you exactly what you're having now around here

I take MWO for what it is these days/ has it always been
A team death match sandbox game with Mechwarrior skins
For free it might be good enough
But it does feel far away from the thinking man's shooter

But at the moment I can't be bothered with playing
The wait times have just exploded since they reduced saving time
Mind boggling that they acknowledged that something is amiss and want to do something but wait till the next patch instead of hot fixing it a bit earlier
Hope they can at least bake it into the next patch

Something tells me if PGI would do a reskin of the lump of coal into a lump of gold you'd praise them for conserving resource making awesome items

I got complaints to and put them on these forums. I try and stay real though. You should try it.

For years
After the split from IGP they stepped up and I bought a gold mech in return

Can't justify any spending any more for me personally
But it might get a bit stale after 5000 matches or so :-)

When CW dropped I finally bit the bullet and signed up to play. I loved it. I threw obscene amounts of $ at this game because I really enoyed it, it was Mechwarrior and it gave me a Battletech fix. Back then, if I would have known about the gold mechs (they were still available I think), I probably would have bought one. Not because it was a gold mech, but because it would be a way to support the game.

Now though?

I'd buy a gold mech if buying one meant that it guaranteed a game with regularly added new maps, no long tom, no unit tax, logical quirks, lore filed immersive cw experience with real rewards and consequences that affect the larger game when taking or losing planets, a mode where mercs are merely a tool for the factions to use and the factions mean something other than a place for mercs to fight. etc.

Yeah, if that's what it took to have that sort of game play experience I'd probably buy a gold mech too. Unfortunately I no longer believe that such a game will ever be made. Alas, PGI seems bound and determined to keep their plans for the future secret, with e-sports being the only indication of their direction (via the tournament). And I am not buying a gold anything to support that.

I've dropped 5000 matches, not sure CW matches count in statistics
I've got my monies worth, even if I could've bought a new titan x and an Intel 6core with the money I threw at PGI

I'm saying not buying until things get better in my eyes

Haven't seen gold mech owner showing buyers remorse, even those that bought more than one

If I'd known they want to drop everything so they can pursue eSports then I wouldn't have bought one

I remember how pgi made it so difficult to hold our own tournaments back in the day
Sync dropping was the only way

I'd almost forgotten some of the other, long ago threads where someone demonstrated such conviction to a point proven wrong yet they still charged forward in defense of said point regardless of how silly they made themselves look. A classic example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect .
