I know I've asked for this before when the tier system was introduced, but I still would like it to be introduced.

When the match is over I'd like to see everybody's tier, team mates as well as enemies.
This would work just as in CS:GO where you after a match get too see the rank of all other players, this so that you can judge your own and the teams performance as well as review how the MM set you up.

There is no reason to allow players to hide their tiers when they play the game.
We already have public info on all players (the leaderboard) which could be considered far more sensitive than just the tier.

So, PGI, please make us see everybody's tier after the match!

Tier doesn't mean anything.

I mainly agree.

it would let those inclined to lead know when they should as opposed to 'eyeballing' it and passing on the opportunity.

It seemed to work for a time...until everyone leveled up.

Tier is an XP bar though that inevitably increases.

I got an entire tier increase on mostly just a MPL Mk7TC 7MG shadowcat ffs. It can't mean that much.

Neighbour, please. Its a players freedom to hide it or not. Wheter it be relevant for stats or working as intended, which its not. Its just a shallow exp bar.
It dosent represent players individual skill level, only the amount of time spent piloting.

Also, privacy get butchered because of commerce, fear, mobbing and fanatism in any other part of life, why should it hit gaming too? Depressing.

Tiers should be displayed on the tab scoreboard so I...
1) know who is likely to shoot me in the back
2) who is going to hide and never engage
3) who I can probably rely on to use basic tactics such as focus fire

I feel like the merits pro/con were comprehensively discussed when the "opt-in" Tier system was selected.

To be blunt, I've never been convinced that people want the public tier system just to evaluate how well the MM works. Always struck me as a pretext for getting the e-peen metrics out there.

You get the same people complaining that it's XP bar and doesn't mean anything -- yet they insist that it needs to be public. Things don't add up here.

Thats like judging all under the same banner etc. Not every tier 5 goes the point you listed for example. Some tier 5 pilots can actually be better than some tier 1 pilots. Talk about generalising all under the same axe.
I find more pilots in my experience of say tier 4 being more honorable and less *** than tier 1 or 2. The ego is real for some higher tier pilot. But sure there are some wild gung-ho ducks in the lower tiers aswell.
Always exceptions.

I dunno about the tier thing, I am no where near as skilled as my tier would indicate. I got carried for 1/2 of tier 3 while i was doing poorly with PPC's.

Your PSR should not increase just because your team won.

I dunno,, I don't really care we don't see it..

But what i would like to see is an average Tier number on the launch screen.. that way you know going in, as it can dictate your strats.. If you know you are with a bunch of lower tiers, then you can adjust your game play.. aka if i see T4 on my game i will often think different than if i know i am lumped in with the t2's.. I know what i am.. and if i see t 3.6, or T. 4.2 i would ready myself for a different match.

Tiers don't mean anything.

When Tiers were announced people who could think for themselves said that it is flawed and everyone gonna hit Tier 1 eventually.

Now after a year... everyone is Tier 1 or 2 and guess who were right?... The community?!!!!... The ones who don't know anything about game design?!!.... no way!!!

I'd like to see everyone's tier after a match, but moreso out of simple curiosity than it actually being useful information.

No it should not.....stuff like this has ruined many game communities...XVM did bad things to the WoT forums "Oh your not a Unicum God? HOW DARE YOU POST OPINIONS OR IDEAS!" (Was told once since I have average stats that literately I knew nothing on real world tanks that could be in game....)

No, if someone wants to hide their tier let them.

I don't think there are more T1 and 2 games being played than T3.

Tier means squat, thanks to PSR so many things wrong with this game, don't need any pointless idea's pushed that waste resources being developed.

With tier visible at end of match we will see why this MM fail or why tier system did fail ...
In fact with this it will highlignt another PGI's fail and pretty sure they don't want it :)

I don't really care about seeing individual players' tiers, but I would like to see both team's Collective PSR at the end of a match. It would be especially nice in Faction Play where there is no skill-based matchmaking.

I did never saw a skill-based matchmaking in MWO.

We had a W/L based matchmaking with ELO.
Now we have a XP based matchmaking with PSR.
And nothing for FW.
