Found Major Bug!

I have found/noticed a major bug in game relating to the selling of clan mecks. PLEASE do not give me link to support or such. I can not get it to work.

I believe this is caused by the implementation of the new save feature in game. I do not wish to say more in public so can someone from game staff contact me threw my profile here on the mwo site so I can tell them about it.

yea... you will spend more than you will get back if you try to exploit it... so go ahead!!!


however there is a few things with it untested... hmmm... yea not spending my money on testing it

Um, the thing is, why can't you get it to work?

No staff usually comes on Sunday. Tina won't be back till Monday, I know that for a fact.


you'll have to wait till tomorrow if you can't get the links to work, in which they do work. I used moderation@mwomercs.com and I got a response back before I was a mod.

so try again, maybe put a www. before the support@mwomercs.com?

EX: www.support@mwomercs.com

If you cannot write an Email how did you sign up to MWO in the first place?

for some reason my ip or computer or something else is not supporting my email compositions and blocks them from being sent out. when I click the support options I get sent to an untitled tab.

spent last 10 minutes composing a 50 word message and managed to send it threw my email address to feedback@mwomercs.com. Who would have thought it would take that much effort...

or...umm...

simply open you hotmail, gmail, yahoo mail account, and cut and paste technical@mwomercs.com in the recipient box..... and um... hit send.

Magic.

I would think if I had a game played 7 days a week, I would have someone available for support vs players having to do all the legwork

I once spent a week over Christmas helping players work around a bug which prevented the MWO installer from working, because the entire PGI team had taken two weeks off.

That's how much PGI cares about supporting players.

Hah.. that reminds me of a crappy Japanese game that I used to play.

The entire staff took a two week vacation over New Year's.. The game servers died on day #3.

We only got them to come back to restart the servers by posting the worst porn images that we could find all over their forums.

You don't have a dedicated email manager (like MS Outlook, for example) set up to handle those links. That's why you think they "don't work", the new tab thing is because your browser is doing its best to work with something you never told it had to be handled differently. Honestly, it took me aback a little at first, but I just copy-pasted the address into the recipient block in GMail. It amazes me how little problem solving ability people have.

I read the posts sense my last and LOL!!! It surprises me that a game like this does not have 24 hour support staff either. And I remember that incident to about the vacation rage quits! Do not remember the game either. And I do not use a DEM. I do not use email that often. as for the time I spent on the 'actual' email sent it was probably closer to about 5 minutes and that includes checking my messages. Most of the time was figuring out where the composition option was. Thou I did keep getting adds popping up keeping my email from loading properly. (sad thing they are built into yahoo)

Also I recall needing game support sense I started in december so ty for your help if you did help me then too!
