MWO has huge potential, but in its current state I would be hard pressed to put it in my top 50. If I did a strictly FPS list it might make top 10 but it might not.

Looking forward to possibly adding Escape from Tarkov and Space Hulk :Deathwing to my all time fav games.

maybe the OP should have ask why did some of the games make your top 10 list

for me it's longevity after 2 years I am still playing MWO and QP is still fun
that's miles ahead of a lot of games I spent money on played one time and never touched again
the other games like advanced war fighter I got to the end and never played again

I pretty much stopped playing games because of all the crap games or maybe I should say games you play
but quickly stop playing

both TF1942 and Ascendency I played for years and never got tired of the games
and back in the day there was no calling the game maker crying about getting killed lol

note the total lack of mechwarrior games. mechwarrior 2 would have been somewhere between 12 and 15. if we were counting mods living legends would be somewhere in the middle of this list. i also kind of wanted to throw in freelancer, but when i really think about it the story kind of sucked and the mod support was hectic (those damn ini files give me nightmares).

its built on the mechwarrior 2 engine, so it might not be very easy to get running. i also seem to recall it having a very picky installer that wont install it if it detects hardware it doesnt recognize.

The plan was to make a MWO'ish car battle game, but most wanted a PvE campaign so they canceled it to come back with a new idea. Haven't heard anything since then though =(
