Time and time again it's been a leader board challenge event with a minimal personal challenge event linked with it. This doesn't leave much for the non TRY HARDS to play for other then the few items from the single personal challenge. There used to be personal challenges for a selection of mechs not just one personal challenge and then your done. It would be nice to see those brought back or added to these challenges that keep happening what seems like weekly now.

It allows those that may not have the time to invest in getting that top % or those newer players that well for lack of better terms just don't have the experience in the game to compete for the extra prizes included in the leader board events.

Looking back through the announcements April 8th (Alpha Lance Challenge) was the last event like I'm talking about.

This allowed 4 separate challenges plus the Grand Prize. It would be nice to see this type of event mixed in with the Leaderboard event structure not just one single Personal Challenge.

Or at least more events like this to even out with the amount of Leaderboard Challenges that are being put up.

Maybe instead of making them specific mech challenges make them weight specific that way those that don't have said specific mech still get to participate in more then just the single personal challenge event.

I think you mean to say that you want a time consuming challenge with rewards that are worth the effort.

These single personal challenges just don't seem to have enough substance and the Alpha lance and it's predecessor's were much more enjoyable along with allowing for more content to be won.

personally i prefer the type of events we have now. i never have the time to grind-hard and get those prizes. it turns into an exercise in frustration and i've missed things by one or two points before.

Compare that to this weekends event, where i can pick my favorite weight class (light), pick a prize to shoot for, and have a decent shot at knocking it out in the few games a weekend i get and i have a lot more fun. enough fun that i've actually been sneaking time on the game to play for entertainment instead of getting annoyed and doing other things.
