So sick and tired of having to carry 11 ******* who can't even press R, nor even manage to pull the trigger, nor even move with the team.

2 months, of 1 win.. maybe out of every 10-20 games.
This is not an exaggeration, this is how completely ****** the MM is.

I already uninstalled the game about a month and a half ago because it was just to frustrating when being Tier-1 means you have to carry so freaking hard with a team of MORONS, that you can't even enjoy the game at all anymore.

I'm seriously going to just uninstall this garbage permanently.

Sick of it.

The MM needs to be fixed, Ranks need to be wiped clean or something..

I'm sorry that you've lost so many games consecutively. Maybe group with some friends for a bit before returning to solo queue quick play?

Would be nice to get matchmaker to keep players playing with their tier only rather than a spread. It could also definitely be harder to keep your tier high and tiers should be able to move easier.

I guess you've never experienced a group implode due to a few bad apples... Dealing with people can be just as annoying as dealing with pugs.

I see reports of things like this and I have to wonder what these people are on about. All I play is QP. I haven't played FW in earnest since Phase 1. Phase 2 and 3 have not made enough interesting changes for me to consider it again. Also have a girlfriend and job now so short but sweet games better suit my lifestyle than long, protracted ones. Anywho, I get into losing slumps sometimes too. It happens to the best of us. But mostly I feel like I win a lot of my matches too. In fact, let's go look at my win/loss ratio....

Ah. 1.07. So I win a little bit more than I lose, but pretty much an even 1. And I'm not running the best 'mechs, or the best builds. I carry sometimes, but not terribly often. I dunno man. I don't know what your problem is, because in this situation I can't even say "git gud" because I don't believe a single 'mech on a team of 12 could so consistently influence the outcome of a match like this. Perhaps you're winning more than you think but just letting the losses bother you and taking the wins for granted so that it feels like you're losing more often than you actually are? What is your KDR? If it's 1 or above I don't really feel like you have that much to complain about.

In other words, what a MM should be doing. I don't know why PGI doesn't want to do this. If there aren't enough players in all time zones then they should just use 3-4 tiers.

Need to join up with a group of people who know what they're doing. even my own unit mates at one point were ticking me off, and iI left to get away as they were on a losing streak. I packed up and went solo, and even then, I lost games. frustrated, I left and just played another game.

So two things you can do. Take a break away from the game, even if you play very little, or just play a whole different game than MWO.

<o Mister D, I feel you.

Hey D, off work today, so been puging off and on today. Won probably 15, feels like I lost 4-6. Been a good day for me talking to and leading pugs. Started strong on Crimson assault from the water-side, called to start the battle from the ground level at theta-water side. Worked out well and was quite the roll. (Same plan later, not as energetically called, and not called early enough failed). Point being, giving a decent strategy, movement calls and such has and does lead to victories...mostly. I think I dropped against you today, and my team just crushed yours. I'm pretty sure I was calling the match the whole time. I call, because it helps me win more, very selfish of me, but it works.

This, of course, is why many Battletech fans would rather play PVE campaigns rather than bang our heads against a brick wall every day, dealing with puglandia tards...

Oh, and I almost forgot D, you could just quit playing for a while. I gave up again a week ago. The PUGs got to me. But I found this wonderful new fan made game to play in the meantime. It's a remake of Metroid 2, called AM2R. You might like it, if you're into that kinda stuff... :) It isn't hard to find if you spend a few minutes searching.

Is it finished yet? Last playthrough it was completed all the way up to the lava area with the Zeta Metroids (the first ones with the legs).

Hmm...I've always enjoyed my experience with QP. Sure, you get team wiped from time to time but generally speaking, the other side has just as much chance of drawing a few noobs.

I run a Narc Raven with only 3MLs so I'm keenly aware when my team is sub standard since I can't really deal damage myself. Yet, Raven is my go to mech because more often than not, my team of random players DO take advantage of my support and win in a more-or-less coordinated fashion with VOIP etc. Considering my team is missing the firepower of an ACH or Jenner every time I drop in, my win ratio still sits well above 50%. To lose 90% of your 10-20 t1 games seems...exaggerated.
