So most important are the missile-equipped Blackjack, MASC-equipped Cataphract and the ECM-equipped Stalker. The free Loki will be nice since I bought the Kodiak, although that Cataphract makes me want to buy the Cyclops...

CATAPHRACT CTF-3L!!! Come to papa! No longer floating in the unreleased swimming pool. I might have to bite the bullet and pick up another clan pack to finish off the categories.

I know they're aren't as dominate as they used to be but I can never have enough Phracts!

Dunno, haven't looked at the hardpoints yet, but it's TWO Summoner variants, so that's a bunch of hardpoint options.

The summoner isn't an intrisinctly bad robot; it's a solid 70t mech with a good body shape for spreading damage. It's failing is too few hardpoints to use multiple small weapons, and too little tonnage to use heavy weapons. More Energy hardpoints is one (if boring) way to fix it.

I'm pretty happy to be getting everything; I'm not a Cataphract man but MASC? That covers one of my largest irritations with the chassis.

I'm not interested in blackjacks, so whatever there, but a cbill bonus Hellbringer CT is more than welcome too.

Also: ECM Stalker? That's a gnarly option right there.

Sure, the thing is, this turns it into just another Clan heavy energy boat. Oh, the ballistic/energy mounts on the arms are interesting, but if we want to run mixed ball/beams we've got the Delta variant. This makes it easier to strip all your weapons. Missiles in the left-torso? Pretty much ever Summoner except the -D, but the -M comes with that interesting energy/missile combo in the left torso.

Toss in how energy draw is supposed to limit alpha-strike playstyle, and the tonnage cap seriously impedes the Summoner's ability to run a LRM payload and decent direct-fire capability. I've got a few SMN builds that I sometimes run. Occasionally they perform really well. Unless the quirks are something special I don't see either of these doing anything that what I already have can't do better.

Toss in the inconvenience I have to go through since PGI ditched Karma Koin and I see nothing that makes me want to make up the difference for the top tier collection.

Now, if you want to talk IS, the Blackjacks have been near and dear to my heart for a long long time. First set of mechs I bought (way back in Beta). First mechs I mastered. I still have some of my BJs. Missile hardpoints? Sweet!

MASC on a 'Phract? Yeah, that looks like fun.

The Royal Stalker? I've wanted that mech for...a very long time.

Clearly PGI is trying to tell me I picked the wrong side to be a loyalist for.

Do gifts count? So like my friend bought 2 origins packages; one for the both of us. Do we both get 1st tier, or does he get top tier and I get nothing? I assume it's the latter.

He who received the gift gets the reward. Who bought the gift doesn't matter.

It does matter WHEN you bought the gift packs though.

So, as you both got Origins packs redeemed, you'll both get Summoners.

Yeah, I do not want the Blackjack but I qualify for it. It would be nice to be able to sell it and keep the MechBay. I qualify for the Hellbringer and it will be nice to finally have a fourth variant of that. As far as the Summoners, I do not currently own one but have been considering getting them for a while now. I would have to upgrade both my Kodiak and Huntsman pack by spending another $20 on each. That would get me the special variants of each of those and the two new Summoners. I could pick up the other Summoner with C-Bills during the Heavy Sale and Event in September. So $40 for 5 Mechs, 1 Kodiak, 1 Huntsman and 2 Summoners + a C-Bill acquired Summoner.

Only thing is, I already have more Mechs than I need because I only regularly play my Hellbringers and Novas unless I am leveling something. Posted Image

Really, really love those Summoners. Energy mounts in the STs are great and offer a lot of possibilities for this chassis. Love it.

MASC sadly won't help the CTFs a lot I guess. That thing is ripe for a complete overhaul like Catapults.

BJ-2 is something a lot of players where rooting for since the BJs were released back in the days. This has the potential to be a nasty little SRM striker.

ECM capable Stalker means I don't need to buy the Cyclops reinforcements. :D
