My only hope for the summoner is that the new energy draw will f*ck the upcoming 6mpl summoners... I don't want summoners to be infected with laser vomit disease.
Because those 2 variants is proof that the summone will never have anything else... no upgrade swap, no JJ removal, and no ammo quirk

Oh, I missed that. I would have been eligible for everything, as I've bought enough top tier packs from those listed, but the IS ones in particular pre-dated the Oct 2015 requirements

Russ has been adamantly against upgrade unlocking (*grumbles*) and JJ locking was unlikely to be reverted (they were unlocked initially, remember)... Ammo quirks would have been nice, but those still seem to be a non-starter game wide.

So... *sighs* It's not the way I wanted them to fix the Summoner at all, but to be honest I'll take it over nothing - which was really the probable route anyways.

JJ-locking was specific to the omnipods. Kitfox-S and Timberwolf-S side torsos (and legs for the former) are the ones in question. The Summoner was always going to have its locked in any case.

They give useless early adopter rewards and then punish you for not buying late...

A little too cheesy on the Collector's packs needed I'd say. How about those who bought 4+ hero's, or reinforcement packs? Guess they get left out. I definitely won't be spending an additional $80 to get 3 mechs and some cockpit fluff. Too bad, would have been nice to try out the Summoner's and the ECM Stalker.

The issue people are going to forget though, is that you can't buy more omnipods. That means, you will have a "teet" of the Summoner for just one build... and that's it for at least 9 months.
