Mauler Build And Mech Critics

I mounted this build for a brawler one: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e478dcda3fbe2bc
Is it ok? The ammo distribution is good? Is it too slow? Lacks punch?
Any ideas for improvement?
Really want some help before I burn all my money on this.
Thank you all in advance!

Second, i recommend against the srms. They provide extra unwanted heat that is hard to manage with 4x uac5s... It also eats up tonnage that should be provided towards the ballistics considering this is a massive ballistics platform
I recommend switching all armorments to 5x regular AC5s.

Muahha jokes aside, I've enjoyed the 4 uac5 ones the most. You could try twin gauss and twin ppc too

So either remove the SRMs and ammo and replace with two MLaser armor and heatsinks like this
Or just ditch additional weaponry and go for more speed like this
But ultimately the 5 AC5 build of the MX90 puts out far more hurt than UAC5

Yes this. I just bought this Mauler ( night before the sale mind you...Grrr ) but it's a blast. Bit slow for my tastes but ouch it puts the hurt out with 5xAC5s and range and cool down modules. It's like daaaaayummmm!

Mounted this build and OMG, it shreds people in seconds!!
Thinking of buying other variation now, so I can Elite the Chassi.
What do you guys think about this build?

Mounted it thinking in using the Lasers while approaching (med-long range) and then the SRMs + MGs for brawling.
It has plenty of ammo and even the legs are fully armored!!

First off, MGs are not brawling weapons... Infact I woundlt mount them on this mech at all... i cant imagine any assault mech ever bothering with such a weapon since they dont have the speed to close ranges fast enough to employ them effectivelly, so they end up eating up too much tonnage for no reason.
Anyway, if you enjoyed the 5x ac5 mech, why not try the 4x uac5 mech? The following is taken straight from metamechs.com

I personally would drop the mlas and upgrade he engine by a ton, and the armor value by a ton.

Well, I want another type of gameplay.
5 AC5s or 4 UAC5s play the same role. I want to change mechs and change the feel I get when piloting them.
It's not fun to have just 3 "almost copies" of the same loadout.
So, do you have any tips to improve the SRM build? I really want to try them. (I will take out the MG)

Isn't it too low on ammo? (for both weapons)
What about this?

I like your last build, LBx10s work great on damaged mechs. But on fresh mechs, the AC20 is king. Knowing what your mech is best at and playing to it makes a build "perfect" not the build itself.
