So, from what I've seen during this event, probably the top 50 or so players are [Redacted] in virtually every match. My question to PGI is, are these people going to be disqualified, since you obviously cannot detect the hacks they are using? [Redacted]

If you're not going to disqualify these idiots, why do you even have these events? There is virtually no way for any reasonable player to get an overall 10 game score of 3600 or better without some sort of aid due to the nature of the game. If anyone playing says otherwise, I would consider them immediately suspect, since they are likely using some sort of aid as well.

Looking forward to PGI's response to this one.

Well people here tend to believe in fairy tales. I think its a lore thing.

You will read about every excuse in the next few minutes but facts as they are PGI has done nothing about it since the original ban wave a long long time ago. They need numbers so if it includes scumbags its ok with them. Main reason why any thread mentioning it is quickly purged.

There really is no point in bitching about suspected cheating here.
If you have a cheating complaint make to support, or better yet make an in game report using the report function that PGI provides all of us. If you have video showing actual cheating send that to support as well.

Most cheaters are probably also whales, so ofc PGI won't deal with them.

Before I get shot by everyone, I should mention that I don't believe that most people on the leaderboard are hackers. THAT is going past my own paranoia levels.

Well aren't you a paranoid little thing?

You want to know how they really did it? A combination of legitimately being good at the game and no lifing it in the solo que until they manage 10 goldilocks matches. This game moves in predictable patterns so having a good idea where the enemy is located is quite common amongst experienced players. And frankly mechs are not horribly hard to hit in this game or even getting most of your damage in the component you want.

Now if you have footage of people consistently CTing lights that are evading properly without spreading damage all over first then we can talk aim assist.

I don't like any candidate so am impartial but I am not a moron and understand the ramifications of electronic voting controlled by a few companies whose board member's rotate among them. Those are facts.

This year so many conspiracy theory have proven true only the ignorant or true believers think otherwise. Just like the latest NSA hack proves where stuxnet came from.

I find it hard to believe all of them, or even a majority of them, in the top 50 are using any kind of assistance beyond something like firing macros. I didn't have time to grind the matches to make it to the top 50 this time around, but I was accused of aimbotting when I got a headshot in my Boar's Head, had another guy repeatedly ask me if I was sure I wasn't headshot by another player, and have played in matches with several names near the top of those lists. I don't see any evidence to support OP's theory.

Don't sweat the white knights. With the last hack purge the leader of 66ah was caught along with teamamtes. Thing is the posts above were identical to his posting history before he was caught. He would come after me daily with the same insults as above.

Chances are PGI could find many cheaters by checking the white knights in this thread. Just like last time.

Light mechs are just fine to get high numbers of kills with.

People need to get a grip. Some people are good. Some people are bad.
If you spent 5 minutes looking up that aimbot you speak of, you'd know it's as good at aiming as the T4 bracket.

I mean yesterday, some clown (was it you?) accused someone of using an aimbot, with SRMs................
