In this Challenge, the matchmaker creates PUG teams of four competent players who are trying to level their new Mechs, and drops them in teams of eight inexperienced players who can barely manage 100 damage a match.

The experienced players have to maintain the motivation to keep coming back to play MWO for an entire week. Anyone who gets frustrated, gives up for the night, or ragequits at the sheer frustration of trying to level Mechs under these impossible matchmaking conditions doesn't qualify.

For prizes, I envisage awards of craptons of GXP, which the winners can use to level their Mechs, obviating the need to ever try to level a new Mech again.

Yup. But at least we'd get prizes for perseverance.

I feel like this is the Atlas seal clubbing meme, with the added bonus of the seals "hanging out" inside of a super hot geyser.

nice troll post. also a very funny one. your post is simply describing the past and present situation in this game since ELO was abandoned.

you want 4 competent players in the same team and same match - that didn´t happen for years.
It didn´t happen for one reason:
MM always tried to force you into 50% W/L-ratio and gave great players 10 ******* as teammates, instead of putting simply high skill players together in the same match. The result was a one man army getting bored. The best players in BT-History left this game a long time ago, cos seal clubbing is boring and hanging around with braindeads isn´t what they deserve.

TLDR: good players don´t give a **** about this game.

about MWO-Championship: The upcoming winners are definetly not playing this game anymore. Some might do a minimal amount of training in order to win. BUT PLAYING THIS GAME AGAINST BLOODY ROOKIES - NO WAY!
