I think it's about time the Clan ERPPC gets it's full 15 damage without splash. As per ED convention, make it draw 15 energy as well.

Gauss got its chargeup removed so the CERPPC should also get back its former glory.

With how powerfull PPFLD weapons are right now, I'm expecting to see a higher draw/damage ratio for PPCs and ballistics, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the c-ERPPC at something like 20 draw, maybe even higher.

The full 15 would be crazyballs, even if the power requirement was pushed up to 15 accordingly.

I'd rather have them loose the "splash" effect (which isn't real splash, it's an arcing but w/e) and have 10 power instead.

What about a compromise of 12-13 PPFLD instead?

Reduce the draw because of the splash? Why not go the other way?
Give all PPCs some slpash, and use power draw to only the direct component and one half of the splash?

So like this:
isPPC = 6 +2 +2 dmg, 9 heat and 8 draw
isERPPC = 8 + 1 +1, 14 heat, 9 draw
cERPPC = 10 + 2.5 + 2.5, 14 heat, 12.5 draw

Otherwise, if we want to use the .75 multiplier that other spread weapons have, we could use something like this, but I think that it would not be liked that way:
isPPC = 5 +2.5 +2.5 dmg, 9 heat and 7.5 draw
isERPPC = 5 + 2.5 +2.5, 13 heat, 7.5 draw
cERPPC = 7 + 4 + 4, 14 heat, 11.25 draw

I would be fine with any, but I am usually also for strikter and lower limits (24 power pool and a 1.0 to 2.0 penalty per damage over).

I was going for simplicity. But, I have no issue with this because at least it introduces consistency.

Either that, or remove the splash damage and make it only draw 10. That splash damage is an OK bonus, but once the weapon starts being penalized for it, it'd be better to drop it.

PPC must TURN OFF THE COMPUTER (HUD) IN RELATION TO THE DISTANCE OF FIRE.

- I remember time when PPC uses mostly for armor burn (do less damage to open structure) and ECM disengage. Also it was pretty slow weapon, many of mech with 60-69KHP can easy go off and got no hit. I agree to give all ERPPC same damage = 11dmg and in same time take 11 points from energy pool. As well - give same heat ammount = 11heat. Also make PPC a bit shorter and give 12dmg and make longer close range. How about that?
But still... we need to test system, not make ideas of re-balancing weapon. When all system of ED starts working fine - most of weapon needs a just tiny tweaks.
