It needed missile heat reduction, ballistic velocity and or better ballistic cooldown.

Cyclops shouldn't be compared to Maulers or Highlanders. They're the same tonnage but they're totally different roles and design philosophies. Maulers and Highlanders will have more tonnage to put to weapons and armor simply because they have a lower engine cap. When you cannot fit more than a 325 rating...you end up with a lot of tonnage needing to be spent on other things.

Which really doesn't matter much in MWO where the only real "role" is out damage your enemy. So yes, I am wondering if I missed the 'Cyclops DOA' topic after the quirks were posted. It's underwhelming and is an assault with Archer like hit boxes, e.g. likely to not be used much.

Neon is great but not for warhorns.

Dude that's suppose to be streaming (and kinda promoting) the game should at least be half decent mechlabber. Which he's not he stated that himself - "he's build copier".
Crimson Strait looks better with added geometry/mesh.
Cyclops will be a rather fun and supportive/offtank/2nd line assault and that's that. If sensor range addon will be something to be reckoned/noticable might be added to competetive setups. Other than that I wish arms wouldve been bigger to be able to torso twist properly... because it seems this one seems to have same problems with hitboxes that Archers are suffering from.
After seeing the part where he looks from the cockpit (and remembering how big the eye on cyclops is) I'm really starting to wonder how easy will it be to headshot cyclops.

I'll be bringing my ECM tonight.
I also liked how for each variant people wanted to see it boat the maximum number of LB-10X's. The fun is not dead yet. :-)

But what's REALLY nice is that the Periphery powers are now in, in a small way:
