"Large and diverse" playerbase.

I'm done with these awful threads.

There's nothing sane to convince people that RNGesus MM will troll you just as well as it'll troll your opponents at times.

Most "syncdropping" these days aren't intentional, and frankly you could probably tell the MM to not "allow" syncdropping, AND YOU WILL STILL GET LOPSIDED RESULTS.

Let it go.

They won't Death, because people don't want to look at themselves first , but rather outside influences to why they lost/losing.

Yes. You know what influences winning? Getting good.

When I was running garbage builds just to get the challenges... I got wrecked for that.

I put in a good mech and build (Wubshee for life), and magically, I got better.

Who knew?

Actually, we used to have that in the early days. I myself found it fun. But obviously, many were not, especially given the several changes done to the matchmaker since then.

Frankly, I think the MM is just being used as a patsy for something more obvious. Posted Image

Nope. I want to go wayyyyyy back.

I remember a time on the original Frozen City - my team had 7, yes 7 Atlases and 1 Raven-3L. The other team had no assaults. To say the least we won the match without a loss.

At this point I would be willing to try random players with class limits (3 +/-1 as needed). This PSR is just not working.

No one ever admits to sync dropping but that is irrelevant. In this case perception matters. It would not take much for them to change the matchmaker so it prevents matching unit tags on the same team.

Will it be scumbags complaining of other scumbags when no one is left but them?

I was the token Wolf in OP's match last night. My recollection is we were actually keeping things pretty even until the ~6-6 mark, when the nascar started and we got our rear chewed off in C3.

And just as a counter, I was in many teams of mainly light wolfpacks that wiped out much heavier enemies. Posted Image

Marik isnt trying to hide it haha We were doing it last night but doent really change anything, every match i was in had mariks on both sides. We never all ended up on one side.

It takes a lot more then 2-3 people on TS to change a match.

If you hate bad pug matches, learn to tank, call drops, and--most of all--learn how to lead.

If you can inspire people to follow you (protip: won't happen by commanding them what to do), you can control the chaos to a certain extent. The end result is that you will start to have more good games (I don't consider a win to automatically be a good game).

And you don't even have to be a coms-spamming nozzle to get it done. Just get in something big and be at the front. If you say "pushing at 13:45" then "Let's go." in team chat and then push, you'll be amazed at how many chickens-without-heads suddenly fall into line.

Humans are social creatures. We value good leadership and, if you don't trigger people's authority complex, you can get a lot done just by being a good leader.

I'm not the best drop leader by any stretch, I know how to call maybe 1/2 the maps in the game really well, and have a rough idea of how to call the rest. I'm a decent-but-somewhat-inconsistent pilot, and if I can see success by stepping up to the plate and taking the role nobody else wants, then you can too.

No, Probably someone else without the go along to get along mentality. There are individuals left who can think for themselves you know.

The evidence is clear with admissions, links to the TS server dedicated to synch dropping and faction pages that most people with any resemblance to critical thought would know that its happening still. But you all said it wasn't happening then either.
Like cheating never happened because it was server side or pgi was on top of it. Bull**** wears out over time.

Then there are those who are either blind or so far up the arses of their friends that they can't let go of the unicorn myth that exploits never happen. Along with them are the ones practicing it and Like the leader of 66ah was here they would follow people around the forums trying to ridicule the idea. PGI kinda bit his arse too. But that never happened did it?

Which one are you?

Or we do it but it means nothing. Why would anyone go to the trouble if there was no payoff?

People seriously think other people are as stupid as they are every damn day.

We did it as an event to support our faction. It was fun calling out my freinds on the other side of the team telling them "i was hunting for them","looks like your leg is red there " and so on.

normally we group Q like every other faction.

Marik had our 'marik monday madness' yesterday I dont think i ever saw us all sync drop on one side. With about 35ish of us we were always spread out around 6 matches. It did stack higher on one side every so often but nothing to do with units

Even with sync dropping i played two solo matches with zero mariks.

Side note anyone wanting to see how this works is welcome to join over on the house's TS next monday.

Yeah, went to all the trouble to set up a TS channel dedicated to it. Went to all the trouble to make a page and a dedicated day for it. Just for kicks right?

You forget there is a place for you all to drop together and have fun. Problem is its against people of your level and you would actually have to work for your scores.

Sorry, your scumbags. you come into solo to farm and practice cruelty against people not on your level of play. We see it with your parting comments every match. It's accepted that children and teenagers will have the capacity for cruelty but most of you are grown men. Well grown scumbags.

Not for kicks , Marik isnt the larger population and our leaders were trying to do something to help it. I think they plan on doing it every monday now. Please come to it next monday and see for yourself how it works. I never once felt i was clubbing pugs.(tier 1 pugs in my case)

Know whats really funny? We played in trial mechs 50% of the time we played. Because it was an event..... Personally i think only won 2 games haha

Why do the Mariks not drop in Group Queue then ? I mean, would also help the faction in total, getting to know each other, practice Team cohesion etc...

Or does MudHut maybe have a point when saying its simply easier for you Guys to Syncdrop QP then go out in GroupQueue ( and be it in 4 Men Groups ) ?

Fool yourself all you want. Some of us remember how it all started as a petty threat to pgi. New players and casuals bear the brunt of your fun and you know it. I don't expect high level players to be bothered by it but what you do is chase off many because they feel there is no hope to improve.. You kill the game one player at a time with you antics.

Now you never see AAA baseball teams going into little league games for good reason. First they have self respect enough to know no good can come from it. And second no one would join little league if they new they would be beat up and ridiculed every game.

But believe what you want. History is replete with groups doing their worst and feeling justified in doing it. Group think for small minded.
