It still sucks big time!!

Virtually no change at all, 30-45 seconds.

Very disappointing

+1 to the enrage. It's unacceptable. Fix the problem already, damn it.

PGI not only wasted 3 years before delivering what had been promised in 2012 but now wastes time - minute by minute during idle and useless 'connecting', 'loading', 'pressing idiotic ready button', whatever - of those extremely rare BT & MW fans who still play this game.

Half-fixed for me. Initial loading screen after login takes eternity, but significantly shorter after battle. Before it was like 30-40 seconds (sometimes even more than minute). Now its about 5-10 seconds.

They are scared to admit that they'll never be able to fix it because they've chosen a frankenstein of a game engine.

Its mechwarrior call of duty instead of mechwarrior battlefield which would have been better

I remember reading somewhere this the reason they can't add any new weapons.

Connection time really is a big issue. I feel rather frustrated whenever I read that "connecting" on a greyed screen...

The August 23rd patch included a minor improvement to the increased Connection times since the July patch, but as mentioned in the patch notes this is only the first step toward getting the Connection times improved further.

We understand the longer Connection times since July are frustrating, and we will be working to improve them further.

Hi Alex

I had thought this patch resolved the issue as I had a number of games initially after the patch where I connected back in after the match in roughly ten seconds. Now it is back to similar connection times of 40+ seconds. Does it have anything to do with your match performance? Is it related to the leaderboard?

i still think its related to the new inventory management system or the supply cache rewarding system. Either way i'd like it better, that the feature gets reversed to its former state (long mechlab saving vs long connecting after EVERY ROUND) or removed alltogether (EndOfRound cache rewarding, make it as redeem k,thx).
now we just get tiny improvements in the months/propably years to come, bleh.
Stop wasting everybodys time.
