So....I get to select anywhere from 8 to 16 mechs that I can get preset and ready to play in CW but the only way I can change that is outside of a match while not in the lobby? Is this a joke? Why would they even release this? None of this makes sense. I realize that there is money involved but people would still buy 1 or 2 extra drop decks even if they could switch them out in the lobby just for the convenience of not having to do it every match...This just doesn't make sense. It's almost like they are purposely trying to make CW fail, I seriously can not think of another reason for it. I realize how tin foil hatted that sounds but please, help me out, I just don't understand this.

Is this something that will be fixed or is this how it's going to be from now on?

Been having more fun playing in star citizens alpha PTU then this game... sad times.

I really want to see how the new energy draw system is going to hurt CW. alot of matches come down to the clock already and with the new lets chip paint off each other system i could imagine CW will be getting another nail in its coffin.

Not to pile on, oh wait, no exactly to pile on. Why create a feature just to screw it up? Come on PGI being able to change in queue is very important unless you want to start telling us what map we are launching into before we launch. Choosing mechs before you see the map is like playing russian roulette, or trying to pick the holy grail from Indiana Jones, he chose poorly, ahhhhhh kaput.

Yea it's crazy, really. How to harass the already small (and dwindling) FW community the most? Long Tom didn't finish the job? Let's prevent them from using more than 8 (16) different mechs. Way to go. I know people who bought so many variants of ONE mech, they wouldn't even fit in 5 preset decks. You take away the ONLY variable that's left in your forgotten gamemode. On top of all, even from a business point of view, that doesn't make sense - people won't buy that many variants of mechs for FW anymore.

Somebody please explain the concept of micro-transfers to PGI. We gladly throw our money for some convenience at you, but if you take away stuff at the same time don't expect people to bear this blatant cash crab.

You give us nothing for FW, zero, nada new content, maps, ANYTHING. Then you take away the only way to shake things up.
Seriously PGI, this needs to be changed in a hot-fix.

I swear PGI. I thought this would help against issues we had from past patches. What I saw is another mistake made by someone from your poor decision making department. drop decks being reset every single time back in the day. That was so annoying back then. Now we got this drop deck system now and the way its been setup, WTF were you guys THINKING?! We cant even make last minute changes to any of our decks while waiting during drop preparations or so on. Who's idea was it to make it like this? GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD! The way you guys have it setup now, nobody would dare to play a game with so much restrictions. nobody is going to bother buying drop decks like this.

I like to have generic drop decks as a basis and for convenience.

But I totally miss the ability to fine tune according to the map.

Absolutely awful.

Tweaking drop decks based on map and mood is one of the few things I still found enjoyable in FW.
Now you're forcing me to use only two preset drop decks--one hot, one cold--with maximum generalization and no flavor.
Most of my mechs will sit unused because I can't afford to cram fun, specialist mechs into an all-purpose selection.

Yeah, I said only two preset drop decks. Why? Because if you think I'll pay 1200 MC for a ****** feature that replaced the inconvenient yet far more effective system that preceded it, you can go **** yourselves, PGI.

Honestly, it makes me not want o play FW anymore. Congratulations.

PGI, snatching idiocy from the jaws of victory.

To be honest I do find it almost comforting that these boys are as consistent as they are. I was worried I tell you, this patch was looking pretty good with the new features, but somehow they still managed to drive off players.

So Here is a work around it!

Once your locked in, go to the social panel. On the top there is a button to modify the drop deck.
Modify away!. Then come back in and re-select the deck you modified!

It's stupid, but it works!

I am okay with having to select one deck or another with no ability to actually change out individual mechs. That is how PGI will be able to entice others to purchase another deck or two.
Thats how PGI will entice many to not even bother playing FW.

Thanks for bringing that out for everyone to know. They still need to fix the interface for it because the way its setup, its still crap.

i am cryin on one eye and laughing on the other. crying cause i support the game hard in the beggining, and stopped after countless poor decisions. laughing cause i stopped buying anything..whats keeping me here are the people i am playing with. but more and more i feel the need to get off this game.

on the other hand i bought doom 2016 and its a blast. for 29.99 i got a full game, finished, that works amazing and feels amazing. and also bought the nova packs for SC2 (not to mention all 3 collector packs so far), since blizzard is a company i support for years now. and they actually deserve it.

bad management is strong in pgi.

this is stupid twice cause even if you have money to waste you need 24 dd not 4
6 maps attack and defend = 12 + 12 with gens to destroy or defend = 24 and if you have 2 accounts IS and Clan you'll need 48

Thanks for the ability to finally have more than one dropdeck .

Absolutely no thanks for taking away the ability to play around with my 160 mechs while waiting on a match in FP to drop .
Absolutely no thanks for only 4 dropdecks, many others and me would need way more than 4 dropdecks, more like 6 to 10 times that amount .

How do peeps like to put it ?
"Good intentions, bad execution" is that it ?

I gotta ask you guys at PGI really honest right now : is that the best/worst you could come up with to improve on the game ?
By now you SHOULD have figured out better ways to get money of off this bunch of very forthcoming and generous people that are making up the community of your game .

Oh, by the way : 1200MC ? Pfff, really ?
