First week of the comp and the following teams have had drop out problems from the server.

SquadFoxtrot, EK, 54TS and ARMD.

To confirm when the player DC, he only drops from the MWO game, TS and there internet is fine.

I have logged a ticket but no response , we are coming into the second week and in hope that something can be done to fix the server.

Speaking to REF and they advised there has been problems with the AP servers.

Any updates on the problem or the fix ?

Thanks for posting live. While my opponents or teammates have not experienced a mid-drop DC in a WC match with us (yet......) we have had start of match DC's, and noticeable jitter/variable ping to the Oceanic Server on the Tournament client during practices and scrims.

Do we know the IP address of the Oceanic server for us to ping to?

Any updates are appreciated.

Yep can confirm issues have been had.

We even offered to replay a match due to a D/C on the other team as a measure of good sportsmanship.

I can confirm two opposition players DC'd mid game in a MWOWC match. After spending months practicing, it would be very bitter for any team to risk missing out on the regionals from players DCing.

We had another opponent player DC last night in a MWOWC game. Fortunately it happened early enough and we could play a rematch (sorry for the confusion Saber).

Yep it's happened to us mid-match vs COMA - not fun! We had thought it was maybe just one of our players clients, if it's a wider issue it really needs to be looked at..

I disconnected twice just before the game against EK and tonight 30 seconds in for 90% of the match. I also logged a ticket after last week.

I get a 67 Error Message sometimes as well. But like mentioned above I am still in TS!

This needs to be fixed as ATM I agree this appears to be a substantial issue.

And we were too hesitant and I ballsed up massively :/

Well played by COMA indeed.

Bandit

Do you have any contacts inside PGI that can help us with this problem?

We have logged a job - No response
We have posted here - No response

This is a time sensitivity issues that is affecting the ability of the AP teams to have a fair and balanced games.

Have you guys considered changing the server over to NA or EU?

I know I have (considered it) Queenblade, but I guess it depends on whether you have a ref there who says it's permissible - the rules say it has to be set to OC servers, and in the absence of any info from PGI on whether that would be acceptable or not, I'd say some of the teams are a bit hesitant to inadvertently break a rule.

In the best interest of creating a fair/balanced field of play and due in part to PGI's increased showing of neglect in the forums, I'd promote playing on the other servers.

There are many rules that are not currently being enforced in the interest of better play.

I've yet to see the rule where team captains are supposed to submit their drop decks before hand being enforced.

Because that part is taken over by the refs. Taking screenshots when everyone is ready is basically the same thing. And much less hustle for the teams involved. AND it helps the super afraid teams that they don't need to worry about the bad refs giving away their decks!

As for the server thing: Just ask the refs on your scheduled matches. As far as I know especially Australian people might have better latencies on NA servers for example. But if you don't have two Australian teams the default servers would most certainly be the OC servers.

In any case... just ask the refs. Would be the easiest way!

The best way would be for PGI to get back and answer a region about a valid question/problem.

How about they just fix the problem..

You can not put on a comp then neglect the teams playing.

Both DSA and KBKP had issues in our match, resulting in delays to the start which were neither teams fault. This needs sorting!!
