I can get used to the longer recharge time of the PPCs. However if this change does go live, for the love of all things Mechwarrior, make sure to adjust the audio cues to match the new timing.
I had not realized how ingrained into my subconscious my reliance on the audio cue had become until I tried PPCs on the test server. It turns out, I'm constantly scanning the horizon, checking the mini map, mentally updating how damaged my mech is,and reacting to enemies, that I don't visually acknowledge the recharge HUD elements next to the reticle nor the recharge bars in the bottom right corner.
At the moment, it is the audio the cue that matters most to me, so I would like to have that audio cue equal the recharge time.

YES. Devs please don't forget that some of us (perhaps many of us) rely on audio cues just as much as the information on screen to keep track of the battle.

I'd still like reversion back to PTS 1's 4.5 second cooldown, but regardless, of course the audio cue needs to sync up with the weapons cooldown.
