I kinda have a feeling that PGI have a personal grudge against LRMs.
Also, the only section of the forums that has any chance of suggestions being seen is in the PTS2 feedback section. Better to have a copy of this in there as well.

The OP is only common sense, voted for it, of course.
I'd also like to see the under minimum range = no damage mechanic reworked. That's not how LRMs are supposed to function; it's punitive to new players, and lazy coding. There are several dozen alternative ideas floating around, can we try one of those?.

remember mechs with only 1Missile slot usually ignore it,
with this 1LRM20=4LRM5s, so we should see more Mechs with Single or double LRM20s,
again with all this Energy Draw should Stop Boating as more than 30Damage will lead to much more heat,
