Its easy, All PGI has to do is a blanket ban in synch dropping. You will never see more whine in the history of the game.

That pretty much sums it up. Without the ability to farm and exploit the faux tier 1's and 2's would be lost. They might even have to play FW than they asked for and whined about for years now.

discuss......

I don't know.

I thought creating functionality people have been wanting for 20 months, have been willing to pay for, testing it, assuring community that nothing will be taken out, more testing and then releasing it to live...only to take out a key factor, taking a day to admit it was a mistake and that it'd take a whole month to fix was a pretty good shot at 'creating biggest whine fest'.

Synch dropping? THAT's what you see as the biggest issue in this game...or at least you think it is of significant import that a "blanket ban" of it would create "more whine in the history of the game".

Sorry man, I am like the worst player in this game, and I have never felt like I am being "farmed" by supposed "faux tier 1's". The fact that you see this as a huge deal (you have brought this up before as I recall) makes me wonder what you are doing when you play and when do you play. Don't get me wrong, on those rare instances when I have the misfortune to drop and see a couple of EMP or AS or MS on the other side I might think "hmmm?" but the reality is that the match maker frankly sucks and I think it is often desperate to try and put a match together given the population constraints at times.

Do some people try and "synch drop" Maybe. I have no idea. But this is so low on my list of concerns for the game that your proposed ban would, I think, not even be noticed by the vast majority of the community...even by those whom you think are "guilty" of it. Don't see it being much of a whine fest.

I play a lot during peak and off peak hours. I do not see much synch dropping.

That's because it doesn't really work anymore with the tier system and the match maker trying to 3-3-3-3. Anyone doing it now is just doing it for fun.

Ok. I just have never noted this as "a thing", let alone a thing to be concerned about. I will take your word that that this is a big problem nonetheless. [Redacted]

In any case, if it is a serious concern to you, best tweet Russ and start a thread down in feature requests asking for your ban. Good luck to ya.

It's really not a thing. I offered to the OP to show up at one of our events but he isn't even willing to see how it really works.

What ends up happening even if you sync drop , you get mixed in with about 10 active games running . You end up with players on both sides and the tier system keeps everyone with the same tiers in their own groups.
Last time we did it I lost 80% of the games I played. On the other hand I win atleast 60% when I stick with my unit.

Well I've noticed it.
Since they have all but abandoned FW that's whats happening now.
Playing FW for the two weeks I've barely run into the organized drop.
Mostly pugs.
So I guess they've loaded up their dropships cookies and headed back to Clan space
My guess they've done so to protest over power draw.
And it's not even finalized yet, so they're doing their usual preemptive whine.
So what do we do in the meantime?
Head on back to Puglandia and turn FW into a wasteland to prove who's da boss.
Patterns people just look at the patterns.
Crazy theories, wild speculations?
I like my tinfoil derby.
Peace!

I think you spot on. I remember the threats about mass synch dropping when they announced solo que. If you scumbag enough to synch drop I would not put any tactic past them.

I might have been able to read your sig, if I didn't put your posts and your sig on my 'ignore' list, few months back. So yeah.

Yur on my ignore list nowPosted Image

On a side note when you see half of the red team with the same unit tags.
In the solo queue, just what the hell are we suppose to think?
Not once, but a score of times in the past weeks.
Don't be so quick to dismiss another's concerns.
Oooooh this tinfoil hat is hot better go inside.
