Hi,

I am looking to buy the Timberwolf but currently the costing is really high (for me). Either 45 Mil C-bills which I have only 25Mil or SGD80 bucks ($55USD).

55USD (for me) is a bit high for 3 mechs.

Would like to ask, how often does PGI do Clan mech heavy sales? I waiting for price to drop somewhat so that i can buy

Either that or when I hit 45Mil cbills hahahaha

The MAD cash pricing is a really good price point for me. Any chance they will drop the Clan pricing to the new? pricing scheme?

I've read elsewhere that they will being having a heavy sale next month around the time the Night Gyr releases. I would save your C-bills for then cause 35% off of those Mechs would be a good bargain.

Don't buy a-la-carte, as 55$ is too much. I am fairly sure that there will be a big mech sale before new year, either at Thanksgiving, or during Christmas.

PGI also will likely put up a Heavy mech sale just before a brand new Heavy mech hits the servers.

All heavies are going to be in sale in about two weeks I recall. Can't bother to google for it but the date has been said already on forum.

Get premium time and use op elited mechsl w modules and everything gets cheap quickly.

If you have 25m cbills you can buy the 20$kdk pack and sell the mechs. It should get you around 25m more cbills 3mechbays and 1 month of perm time,

Im guessing on the 25m as my kdk3 setup with ac10's and ac5's is worth 9m with weapons being sold.

Consider that you can buy one Timber, level it up and then sell it (but not the important omnipods) to recover a lot of c-bills (around 4.5 mil c-bills, IIRC). You just need one, unless you want to use more for FW or other reasons.
Of course you will have to choose between the CT with a JJ, a E hardpoint or a B hardpoint (hahahahah, just kidding).
I kept one with the E hardpoint and never looked back.

Night Gyr will be taller and slower.
Have higher Hardpoints.

I think the Night Gyr will be pretty good compared to the Timberwolf.

Hold off on getting the Night Gyr. You missed the early adopter awards, so there is no reason to get it before seeing it's final specs. Specifically torso twist range, and arm movement (I don't think there will be any besides up and down).

As for the Timber, we've had leaderboard events for lights, mediums, and assaults recently. We should be due for a heavy event, which they will have all heavies on sales. Already mentioned by a couple that they believe it will be happening in the next few weeks. In the meantime, you can pilot the trial champion for free. You just can't customize it. Any mech XP you earn can be applied to your mech skill tree once you own it.

I would recommend if you keep only one to keep the TBR-S as it's the only one that can carry only one jump jet. Of course my true recommendation would be to at least keep the TBR-S and TBR-C as they are the two unique CTs, granted the TBR-PRIME gives you the center B slot but you can only a machine gun.

I only keep the TBR with the energy mount in the CT (in case I need TAG), I think that is the C but maybe S

Honestly, I don't see how getting the C-Bills could be a problem.
The current event alone brings 650K and 2 supply cache keys which should yield something sellable for >= 1 million CB.
Playing a couple of matches also quickly raises you a few million CB.

In this game, ingame money is overly abundant and you quickly get to the point where you don't have anything left worth spending it on (except if you fall for primitive collector drives and think you have to own EVERY mech there is).

Your first TBR costs you 15 million. Use it to make money faster. And whoop, there is your second TBR.

WHY?!? Other than paint and cbill bonus, its worse than one of the standard catapults.

The C4 has all the same quirks as Butters, PLUS additional quirks of Energy range +10%, Energy Cooldown +20%, Laser Duration -20%, Missile Cooldown +20% and Missile Heat Generation -10%.

For those quirks, you surrender 2 energy hardpoints and you pay half as much MC. Butters doesn't have any fancy construction tech either like most hero's do. No endo steel or Ferro-Fiber, no XL engine, no double heatsinks.

Now that they know you want one they are just going to increase the prices! Never let a seller know you want something so you can bargain down!

Kodiak was just recently made available for MC so it is not on sale. (you could grab a standard pack for 20 USD)

There is always a sale along with these events. So there you have it right from the horses mouth. There will be a sale on heavies in a week or two along with an event for Heavy Leaderboards. Be patient just a little longer and you will save a lot of c-bills.
