It's too bad they made assault energy boats bad.

Almost every single variant of this mechs uses out-of-timeline weapons and/or equipment, so PGI is going to have to invent at least 4-5 variants of their own.

Ugh... They sure know how to let people down.

Another filthy clan mech in a row...

Bah, more bloody clanners to kill, i guess!

Meh. The homogeneous/androgynous builds were boring AF anyhow. But it does indeed make this even less exciting.... also..well, Big Whoop.

Wallet remains safely closed.

apparently never. HBS has closed up on the initial IS mechs to be in game, so I suppose that removes any real impetus for PGI to make em. And the Clann Whiners are still crying that "IS has too many mechs already".....

Ignoring the fact that if PGI wan't to keep loyalists on both sides actually involved... they realyl need to simply split it, with alternating Clan/IS each month.

They've could always redeem themselves with a Resistance 3 pack... Valkyrie, Hermes II, Crusader, Hatamoto Chi...

Well, I guess Alex doesn't want to adopt the Victor Musical Industries' art, which is a shame....

I guess those who want IICs 'Mechs because of their unique ("anime" style) arts will be disappointed.

Well, I'm not getting it, I have little to no interest in clan mechs anymore. I mean it will have some nice hard points on it, it is a clan battlemech at 85 tons with jump jets and the marauder profile is pretty nice so it will be nice, hope I will see it on the field. However, ehhhh? I will pass on this one, it looks cool but it isn't my thing, I was really pulling for an IS 40 tonner. Maybe after this PGI will go to 1 IS then I Clan alternating which tech base gets a mech every month instead of blocks of new mechs. Yes I know clans have less mechs so it will run out, but, at least it is less of a guessing game of if there is a reason for me to pay attention to the next mech announcement.

Guess they needed a reason to be cheap and not make a new model, and just edit the old one.

Couldn't have been some mech like Grizzly or something unique and cool looking.

Well, must say the bloated bulkiness is more appropriate for a MAD II or IIC anyhow. Of course, since I find the standard MAD an affront to my eyes, this one doesn't tickle my elmo one little bit, either. And I seriously hope this isn't a sign of things to come for the inevitable next two IICs, the WHM and RFL being slightly modded knockoffs of the IS instead of the interesting versions in TT.

Well, outside of Comp Play, it never has. Still to point and click EZMode for the MWO masses to abandon. Using Ballistics and SRMs do require a minimal amount of ability to lead and aim.

JJs on an assault? Not a selling point for me anymore, period. Useless as ***** on a boar hog.

Should be fun with an XL400, 3 ER PPCs, and heatsinks to the brim.

I'll say this though too.

The Marauder IIC design they came up with does look more like the original in some proportions.

The torso appears stubbier and taller (not as long and flat), the weapon pods also look taller and stubbier (again more like the original), and lastly the pods in back look more round (even if the do have flaps or whatever).

This design feels like they tried to make a compromise between their IS Marauder and the old one that people were more familiar with (well at least proportionately).

Really? I am honestly shocked to see another Clan Mech. I was sure that we would see an IS Mech next. Either way, I will be passing on this one.

Right I keep forgetting JJ's are useless on Assaults since I don't own an assault with JJ's and PGI refuses to just make them work with massive shake, hell with power draw throw in JJ's running (they should produce heat for crying out loud) to help curb fears of poptarting. Then we could have more vertical maps.

I do love the maurader IIc but with the way PGI butcher's mechs and the fact that energy boating is terrible it gets a meh in current circumstances. Pity behind the whammy IIc it's my favorite mech.

Well knowing this mech wont be much it's a nice change since clans getting another battlemech, and knowing the next one gonna be the Metahammer IIc and the endless waves qq on the threads once that thing be announced, so I'll get myself a standard pack and see if the reinforcement pack is worth picking up.
