I think there was a spotter in C4 actually, there was a seismic ping in that area on OPs map. Everyone was too busy tasting the rainbow to pay attention though! Posted Image

That is the second thing I watch for and call out.... spotters on the flanks. Gotta love the guy on the other side running that damn shadow cat, with 2 erlar lasers and ecm, taking shots and ****** your team, and providing LOS for their LRMS. Not the only mech you have to watch out for, but one of the many ecm mechs that will help provide locks if you are not paying attention. Many don't pay attention, and the end resalt is almost always the same. Posted Image

Problem with that is they'll have one scout on your team and six of your teammates will go after'em.

Ideal.... YOU are the guy I am talking about! (ha ha, well, one of several) I can't believe how many drops I have had against you in the last week, and with you and just watch you **** the enemy team. I have fraps videos and screen shots of the end resalts..... one match you had over 5 kills, 900+ damage in you Shadow cat, and I called your position out through out the entire game and rained AC fire at you the entire match. The whole time my team was not concerned with you providing LOS and coring our backs out.... needless to say, we all died and it was pretty much a roll stomp.

This is one of the things that kill me about some of the threads started on here with claims from some of others "cheating" .... It just takes a team playing like a team like this or one or two guys that can flank and do this almost an entire match and it would appear to some that don't have a clue that others are cheating. Situational awareness is OP, try it some time to the ones that don't practice it in match before PGI brings the nerf bat in guys! Posted Image Posted Image

Xd hehe thank you.

In fact i just play the sniper as a sniper have to be played .. always harrassing primary targets, always moving, always in my range but disallow ennemy to play his own optimal range make him overheat or doing bads moves if possible.
In fact always in frontline ( for a sniper and it don't mean only 1K meters hell no ) always taking shoots ( but low accuracy and low damage for ennemy when me i did maximize all of this for myself ).

Lots of people in this game simply don't know how play the maps, tier and PSR are just another fails things which make every match a basic skirmish nascar deathball where team with more UAVs or less campers won most of time...

Shadowcat is really fun to play it open almost all spots avaiable on each map it's a must have and a drugg after try it xD.

I normally notice you stay within 600 meters of everyone when you play your shadowcat.....and yes, you move a lot! lol. Ironically I have a Shadow cat on my IS account, and yes, I enjoy playing it, but have not used the sniper style build yet. I do not have them mastered, only have one. I do not have any shadowcats on my clan account yet, and just now got 3 dires and have them mastered. I only have around 18 mechs on my clan account, I have 4 times as many on my IS account. I divided and made a clan and IS account when PGI couldn't give us a clear answer on how FW would work with wanting to play both and contracts. Its a lot more work to grind 2 accounts, always has been and will be, but it does give me options that some players don't have that kept clans and IS mech mixed on one account.

you are exactly the kind of pilot i hate in the opposite team, especially when i go full spotter in a mech without ecm. stop looking around when i spot your mates, just sit and watch the fireworks damnit! it takes a while to get in a good position! Posted Image

What a surprise, no AMS going off anywhere.

Actually I stand corrected since apparently I can't pay attention, there was 1 AMS being fired from the Awesome(?) for about 20 seconds, but that was it.

That King Crab could have easily ducked out of the rain by hiding behind those rocks and making the missiles smack into terrain whether they were able to maintain a lock or not, but instead he just backed up in a straight line like an idiot for 40 seconds. Terrain trumps LRMs, people. Only kills I ever get with my LRMs are people who somehow can't get this through their skulls. If I am firing LRMs at a target and my crosshair suddenly stops lighting up I know it's time to switch targets. That being said though that was an amazing amount of LRMs that came in on that crab. How many missile boats did that team have?

I have to say, sometimes people are really ******* bad at shooting down, or being aware of UAVs

Even Tier 1 Potato Race, most cannot shoot UAVs down.

One of the downsides of the DakkaBear, you need to rely on Potatos, or bring a PokeBear instead (with arm PPCs)

That or hitting the power down key, or here's an even more obvious clue... don't leave off the AMS maybe on the slow assault mech with the big torso hitboxes across the top.

Are you sure about that??? I was in my Dire whale the other day on HPG und under the garage. A mauler at 86% comes down and decides to go full ****** at me. He fought well till I started to fire my 6 ultra AC/2's into him and he was almost face hugging me. He dies within seconds, and start's crying over all chat that I am cheating.... and using macro's too. I don't cheat, and I don't even use macro's, thought about it, but haven't. He just got rapped by the Dakka.... and couldn't get out of my fire ark fast enough. He was very salty! Posted Image Posted Image
