My Thoughts On How To Make Fp Great Again

My first idea is to make planets start at roughly 50% rather than 0. Attacking is so hard to do because you pretty much need a 12-man, and the defenders have the advantage. Imagine if every planet started at 50%. Can you imagine how wild FW would get? People would be going nuts over those planets!

So the idea is that if you attack once and win, you take the planet. I mean if nobody shows up to contest it, you'd just take it over. I really doubt that would happen though. I think everybody would be really riled up! And that would indirectly fix the queue problem. AND you'd be getting tons of new players and people spending money on mechs! Because people would actually be playing the game! Wow! With people bring more people, so every little thing matters a lot.

I think people's objection to this would probably be that jade falcon and other good factions would just wreck everybody since they're already attacking and winning plenty. But think about the long-term. If my idea ends up working and more people are playing, there's going to be really good teams rolling around that can help to counteract that effect on the game.

Secondly we just need to fix fp. Sometimes you can't even drop a 12-man because of that bug. Something to do with timing out of the last fp game instead of exiting apparently? Edit: Apparently has something to do with the dropdeck the leader has selected. Should be on 1st dropdeck. People are really invested in this time and money wise, so honestly it's kind of a disrespect and the opposite of customer appreciation to keep it broken. More like customer depreciation, I guess!

That's all I can think of for now.

I agree that if there were an easier way for us to earn MC or cool custom stuff, it might give us some more players. Making planets easier to take would really help units pull down some MC and feel like they're putting some actual differences into the campaign. As it is now it's just us loyalists vs whichever merc unit's rolling JF that week, and it feels like a slog for nothing.

It occurs to me that the factions that are winning right now, like jade falcon, are going to win anyways. So it doesn't matter if it starts at 0 percent or 50. I recently saw a planet maxed at 100 anyways, so clearly they're able to just win all the time anyways as it is. But only because they have enough players. I think if everybody else got riled up, better teams would emerge to beat them back.
