Long tom. Just, long tom. If Russ wants to keep it, fine. SeeDubs is dead. Fix it it, or it will stay the same.

Cheers!

Long Tom got nerfed in tomorrow's patch, and properly nerfed.

Thing is, it's still LONG TOM. A mechanic that you have no control over, damages you. People had a bad taste and that will remain as long as LT is there.

By just nerfing it hard, it's the middle finger by Russ, to everyone who inputted the Round Table and months of discussion before it. So just us, the players

LT will never go as he must love the idea of it and probably suggested it, hence he won't let go of a ****** mechanic.

For the amount of money and time spent in creating the Long Tom, they have to have something to show for it.

I mean if they pull it. It just points out another failure in play testing a new mechanic thrown into CW. Which anyone who plays a little of CW notices all the lack of proper oversight in the development of this game mode.

Sadly to think about it and the fact they just pulled code from the normal Arty Strike and increased damage and AOE without really looking at how it works. Shows how little control of the project their is.

It was rushed in and implemented in such a poor manner. That it has driven someone such as myself, with 5k+ hours in game, purchasing mechs just for the sake of supporting PGI in hopes of creating a viable product that everyone can enjoy into one of the many salty and unhappy people with the development and the direction this whole game is going in.

The only thing that actually keeps me coming back to this game is the group I play with. Outside of that. I am not sure why I even log on.

This is why I have high hopes for Derek. I hope someone with a different perspective and insight might be able to enact some changes in CW to help facilitate it towards something that is worthwhile putting time into.

Yeah I'm well aware "something" of it needed to stay, Russ won't let go of something he thought was no doubt a game changing idea (for all the wrong reasons as we all saw).

But yeah, it's still 30 damage per component... Just stupid.
