Bushwacker will sell like hot cakes. Here's to hoping that they use some of the money from this mech sale to actually improve the game.

Actually after reading the sarna.net page I wonder why bother. Another non humanoid that sticks up higher than the cockpit so it's hard to judge cover unless you are in 3rd person. Few variants available. Low (275) engine size. LOW weapon mounts except for the missile rack on the shoulder. It will sell to the nostalgia whales and because it's the first IS omni but I see little value in its viability in the game.

Until now I didn't realise how much I disliked hot cakes, as to improving the game, it depends greatly on what you consider improving, the LD of P.G.I seems determined to use over complicated methods which rarely work, as opposed to simple methods many on this web site have suggested, over the years.

Bushwacker is not an Omni.

Where are we at as of now in the BattleTech universe? Would the Bushwacker be considered based on its year of manufacture or not?

Except it's not an omni.

Unless PGI will invent some variants (and they will!) BSW isn't that good. Tarogato made some good analysis of canon variants translated to MWO.

Depending on where they put the MG hard points in the side torsos, that could help make the chassis useful at range. If it's got more of an Ebon Jaguar profile then it could be fine. Hope they don't limit many of the arms to the stock 1M hard point, that's definitely limiting.

Anyway, we'll see once people start piecing the bits together.

And on Russ' twitter too.

Doubt it's a Bushwalker - looks like there is a PPC barrel on the picture from this topic.

Yes, the Bushwacker should be available in the year we are in.
